I honestly don't know why I waited so long to buy this. I was previously using a bulky floor tripod that took up way too much room in my small home office, and this SmallRig mount completely solved that problem. The build quality is fantastic; it feels heavy-duty and "premium," not like cheap plastic, and it holds my DSLR with a heavy lens without any wobbling or sagging. The C-clamp is padded with rubber, so it grips my desk securely without scratching the wood, and the telescoping height is perfect for getting my camera (or ring light) exactly where I need it, whether that's eye-level for Zoom calls or high up over my monitors. If you are looking to clean up your desk setup for streaming or video calls, this is hands down the best accessory I’ve purchased this year.

Works great.. My remote job requires a cam, and with my entire setup, it's nice to clamp a cam at any height I want.. It takes a substantial beating as well.

Like most Small Rig products, this extension mount is excellent. I attached it to my desk and use it to support my Nikon camera, teleprompter and 7" field monitor. To say it is sturdy is an understatement. It has more adjustment than most people will need and is portable as well. I highly recommend this product!

I bought this to hold my lighting equipment for my business zoom calls. I am also photographer, and this was perfect for holding my light. while I wouldn't trust the ball head to hold my camera, the stand itself is sturdy enough that if you wanted to use a different head to hold the camera it would work perfectly. However, it is aluminum therefore it is susceptible to breaking if used incorrectly, but it was super easy to set up and change the tip. the size is also perfect because I have a 24in modifier on my light and that comes above my 32 in monitors. So, it's quite versatile for everything I need it to do. All in all, the value is great for the 30$ I spent on it. would i purchase again if i need something like this again? Yes.

I've mounted my Sony A7CR with 35mm/1.4f G lens with Smallrig ARCA plate to my desk with this mount and it works perfectly. Very stable and easy to use. I use my camera as a webcam while I'm home at my desk, so this is used to mount the camera directly above and behind my computer monitor (Apple Studio Display). Works perfectly, exactly what I was looking for. Only gripe is it's a bit pricy. Would recommend.

Great product. Purchased to hold my Sony ZV-1 Camera as a web/streaming camera. Solid build quality and holds the camera very well. installation was a breeze. Appears to be very sturdy and it is compatible with other devices as well. Cost was easy on the pockets too.

I bought two or these to mount lightweight lights on to illuminate some old photographs I was digitizing. They worked well. I now use one of them to mount an external webcam to my desk for zoom meetings and the like. Good price. Good Quality.

This item is pretty good it holds my canon camera with ease but I had to buy a seperate mount to hold the camera. As the plastic one feels cheap and might come loose I didn’t trust it. Feel free to use it though.

I am using the desk mounts for lights and iPhone and they are great. I haven’t tried with a heavier camera yet but expect I will in the future. I’m impressed with the product.

Very Sturdy, Currently using this pole to hold up a Sony a6400 for a webcam for streaming. And this works perfectly, very stable and haven’t had any issues.
