An Esthetician from Sauna Skin Studio in Miami FL, recommended this face wash for me a few months ago and I've been buying it ever since. It's a cleanser/natural exfoliant that won't strip your natural oils. In fact it hydrates, reduces redness, and evens my skin tone with it's organic ingredients. I have combination skin and this product works perfect for me. I love the smell as well! (

Agent Nateur - acid (wash) Natural Lactic Acid Skin Illuminating Cleanser isn't like other cleansers. It doesn't lather, and it's more like a gel than a liquid. But what it does is help exfoliate the skin, which helps explain the price point. It also has only natural ingredients, which further explains the price point! I will absolutely buy this in the future. I use this every day, but hold back if my skin seems a little bit dry. You can also use this as a masque, leaving it on for fifteen minutes, but I haven't tried that yet. What I have noticed is that my skin is less congested now that I started using this cleanser. I don't have large pores, but now and then I would need to really exfoliate to feel like my pores were clear and all the dry skin was gone. With this cleanser, I've been amazed at how I don't feel compelled to do that anymore. I feel that my skin looks and feels pretty good without any other exfoliation--as a matter of fact, I used my normal exfoliation method recently, and it was a little too much for my skin, as it caused some redness. So I enjoy using this as a part of my regular routine. Recommended, but the price point is kind of high.

Not sure if I got a bad bottle but this stuff is like water. How can you put a "dime sized" quantity on your hand when it has the consistency of water? And it doesn't foam.... at all. Still, put on my face, and it did NOTHING. Not a trace of makeup was removed. It's useless.

An acid wash typically contains AHA or BHA that removes dead skin cells by exfoliating making it able to absorb the unique benefits of each type of acid. I have used acid type cleansers before but nothing quite like this. It's a small bottle so it's probably not meant for daily cleansing, not quite sure but typically with lactic formulated washes, it's not recommended to use daily. I would say to start off using it once a week and could gradually get to twice a week as I would normally do. I will say that the cleanser seems mild and soft that I may be fine to use daily. The scent of the cleanser is almost unbearable for me. I never smelled anything like it. At first it was similar to lavender, strong at first but then find out in a second it's something else combined with lavender like maybe it's spoiled? Don't know how to describe it but I don't like the scent. Texture is a transparent yellow/orange liquid that is between liquid and thick so a good balance, feels light and soft. It doesn't lather but after washing, my skin feels smooth and brighter thanks to the exfoliants. At a high price tag, the bottle could have been better. It's made of plastic and label looks just ok. The brand makes luxury skincare products where I have only used this cleanser and I think it may be incredibly effective for skin that is prone to breakouts, acne, redness and irritation. Again I like how it feels after cleansing in the short time I've tested it, and only time will tell how much my skin has improved for me to conclude whether I would refill or not.

I have very sensitive skin, and this didn't work for me. Something in this product I must be allergic to. I will be more careful in the future what I put on my face.

But holy cow is she pricey. Good thing it doesn’t need to be used daily. More so weekly. It’s an amazing addition to your routine. My skin was extremely soft, not stripped, after using this. It’s very gentle lightly foaming. There’s a smell to it but it’s not fake fragrance it’s more like.. you can tell it’s acidic if that makes sense. I had zero irritation and I have sensitive acne prone skin. Highly recommend, and again you don’t need to use it daily that would be too much on your skin barrier.

I like what this gentle exfoliating cleanser does for my mature, dry skin. One pump cleans my entire face, and leaves it soft, soothed and hydrated. I also like its natural scent. Even though my skin is dry, it’s still prone to occasional break-outs—since using this cleanser, my skin looks more clear and healthy. This acid wash is a keeper.

I thought I'd give this cleanser a try since it claimed to be good for all skin types, including dry skin. I'd say that it takes a little too much out of my "slightly mature" skin and leaves it feeling stripped and parched. I prefer creamy cleansers for that reason and this acid wash does not act the same at all. I think it may be better for someone who has younger and perhaps oilier skin that can handle the cleansing and brightening ingredients. The scent also smells very acne-wash-ish, which just adds to the over-cleansing experience for me. Essentially, not a product for me but for these reasons, it may be exactly what works for you.
