This has been great for my little one. I was nervous this toy would get much use past the tummy time stage, but I was totally wrong. My daughter still plays with it at 14 months! I like that it’s black and white, so it’s not as overstimulating as the other options out there. Size is great and I can slide it under my couch when it’s not in use. I used to change out the water (and use vinegar to clean it) every couple weeks, but sometimes it’s longer (at least over a month at this point haha) and I haven’t noticed any mold or anything. It’s easy to refill. This is totally worth it in my opinion.

This item is a fantastic toy that really keeps my baby’s attention. The bright colors and moving shapes provide great visual stimulation, and it’s super easy to set up and use. My little one is completely entertained every time we bring it out! The only downside is that it’s a bit difficult to drain the water after playtime, which can be a hassle. But overall, it’s a great product that my baby loves, and I’d still recommend it for the fun and engagement it provides.

We bought another one of these and left it outside and it got ruined, so I thought the next best thing would be one with more contrast for tummy time. This time around we filled it up with a little vinegar and I specifically pulled apart the little animals as I was putting the water in. It’s visually appealing for baby and she’s starting to understand that she can move the water around. I like that it’s a new visual for her and a new texture and moves so that hopefully it inspires her to move her hands more as she grows. The quality seems good. It was easy to blow up and I just prop her on the side of it with her elbows over the edge. The only negative is it really smells like plastic.

I had my baby playing on this and then needed to change her. It was closed, no leaks as I was afraid of that. While I was doing so, my toddler slid the mat across the NEW carpet and managed to pop the plug open. Water went EVERYWHERE. On my carpet. There was a literal puddle he was jumping in before I realized what happened… I used a water vacuum and all. It took 3 days to get the carpet clean (left a wet dog smell at first) and dry after that.

Originally bought it for my baby but my toddler also loves it!

Very durable play mat. The baby was actually able to use it before she sits up. She gets more enjoyment now that she’s sitting and watching the fish swim with her touch.
