I have an old Sony stereo from the late 90s with a faulty power button which this remote works for. My stereo model number HCD LX8 isn't even listed on the product info but I'm glad I risked it! Not all of the settings work but the power and volume works and that's all I really wanted. Great price too

This Sony mini system wasn’t on the list but it works fine. There’s some extra buttons like “tape” that isn’t even an option but it controls the volume which is all I care about.
