I received this complete 32mm button maker kit through the Amazon Vine program, and I’m officially obsessed. I make custom buttons for my kids’ school events, Etsy shop, and just for fun, and this little machine is hands-down the easiest and most reliable one I’ve owned. What makes it a total winner: Setup took literally 2 minutes out of the box. The instructions are clear (with pictures!), and swapping the 32mm die was a breeze. It’s surprisingly sturdy — all metal construction (no cheap plastic parts that crack after 50 buttons like my last machine). I’ve already made over 120 buttons with zero wobble or wear. Perfect, consistent pressure every single time. The handle has a nice long throw and great leverage, so even my 11-year-old can crank them out without help. Buttons come out perfectly crimped with zero gaps or loose backs. Adherence is excellent — the pin backs stay put. I’ve worn a few on jackets and bags for weeks and they haven’t budged. Super portable and lightweight (under 8 lbs with the base), so I can toss it in a tote and bring it to craft nights or markets. The included circle cutter is actually sharp and accurate (no more fighting with scissors or wasting paper), and the little cutting mat is a nice bonus. For the price you get the full machine, 100 complete button sets (metal shell + pin back + mylar), the cutter, and the mat — way more bang-for-buck than the $150+ machines I’ve used in the past. Only tiny note: the first 5–10 buttons feel a little stiff until the machine breaks in, but after that it’s buttery smooth. If you want to start making professional-looking 1.25-inch pins without spending a fortune, this is the kit to get. I’m already planning to buy a second one to keep at my mom’s house because we fight over who gets to use it! 100% recommend.

Updated review: seller was very responsive and did all she could to solve the problems I was having. Come to find out newspaper is too thin and doesn’t create enough resistance to keep the two pieces together. The remedy for that is to place a precut sheet of white paper (that’s included) under the newspaper and it makes it thick enough to seal properly. The large cutter is still an issue so the seller is sending me an adjustable cutter instead of the fixed size. So I am hopeful that that works better. Original review: First, the large size paper cutter cuts the circles too big you have to manually trim them down for them to fit. Second, a light tug on the back of the pin and the whole plastic piece will dislodge. I tried smashing it down as hard as I could and they all came apart with a light tug. And I was using newspaper so it’s like the thinnest paper to use it should have closed down without coming apart. Only way to get them to stay is to add some glue in between the two pieces but doing that is going to make the press messy over time. So this is a good machine for kids to play with but you’d definitely not want to sell the pins as they will come apart.

I paid for this item with my own money and did not receive any sort of benefits from the company. However, I am so glad I bought it. After the two disappointments of ordering the same button markers from a good brand name, I was about to give up my search of one marker which comes with interchangeable different sizes button marking parts. I found the idea fascinating. Why do I have to order three machines in case to make different sizes of buttons? The button makers of the other brand name, surprisingly, even failed to make buttons with the sample buttons it came with. I wasn’t having too much hope on this but IT WORKS!!! It didn’t come with instruction on how to install it; however, the installation was super easy. All three size makers produced beautiful buttons! I tried the 25mm buttons came with the other brand and it worked beautifully as well. However I wasn’t able to work the 58mm came with the other brand; and the other brand had the third size as 37mm while this has the 32mm. I am very pleased also because when I opened the boxes containing the different size markers parts, I found one finished button on each one of the three boxes. I believed they might have tested the machine before they shipped it out. Geez have you ever wondered how companies just never had tested their products? It came with the round circle papers of three different sizes too so that was super nice. It also came with three cutters and I think that’s so much easier compared to the other brand which the cutting mechanisms won’t cut through most of the time. After all, a good buy and I hope it lasts. It’s easy to use and delivers good results! Please make the button parts for the 37mm too! I will surely order it.

This is garbage. After almost 10 tries it just did not work. I made sure the backing was facing the correct way. I used regular copy paper. Made sure the film was just a single piece. But the top part would not let go when it was time to release it to the backing. The circle cutter is a joke. But the mat is nice. And the part that upset me the most was they sent cheap tiny pin backs and the test button that was in the machine was much nicer. I was supposed to be making small buttons for a baby shower. And now I will have to go a different route. DO NOT recommend

My grand daughter really enjoyed this amd continues to enjoy it.
