Works great!
This thing works great, even below freezing. Amazing how much moisture it removes without having to dump or drain water

Installed the EcorPro50 in my 1200 sqft machine shop
I recently installed the EcorPro50 in my 1200 sq ft machine shop to mitigate a corrosion issue. Install was trivial and it is working great. My unit came painted white when all photos and specs showed the unit in unpainted stainless. I also am not too excited with the plastic mounting feet but if they break, I have the machine shop...

Useful for special situations
A desiccant dryer like this is ideal for low temperature and/or very low humidity conditions. Normal temperatures and humidity or high humidity and temperatures are probably better served by traditional compressor based dehumidifiers. Energy consumption is fairly similar between the units as the desiccant unit runs a heater and the traditional unit runs a compressor. The desiccant unit requires a vent to the outdoors where it sends about 15% of the heated airflow (with the moisture) thereby requiring new air of an equal amount to be drawn into the space, typically from outdoors while a compressor unit requires a water drain or pump arrangement and is better suited for a more airtight location. I have an insulated and sealed crawl space and installed a commercial compressor based dehumidifier as it stays above 60F year round and the humidity around 50% while next door in an unsealed wet and cold crawl space (northern Michigan) this desiccant unit is being installed due to the cold temperatures it is likely to see. I also use a compressor based free standing unit in my work shop to keep my tools from rusting due to humidity in summer, the cold temperatures it sees in winter are not an issue because low temperatures bring lower humidity and most folks actually want to add humidity when it is cold.

Stopped Condensation on Windows
Using it to drop humidity in master bath/bedroom. It works, no more condensation on our windows.

Next step in dehumidifier tech.
Am absolutely impressed with the product. Having returned two other dehumidifiers for coil freeze, this was the perfect solution. I also called to ask for details about a special server room installation and was provided with immediate help by the entire team. Good purchase.

10% + drop in RH
I winterized my boat last week. I let the dehumidifier run for about a day. Lowered the relative humidity by at least 10%. It should really help over the winter
