The book guides the reader right from plus 2 level to a bsc course in quantum mechanics there are many books on quantum mechanics by international authors but there is difficulty for a beginner to start with a course in quantum mechanics especially the mathematical aspect.This book fills the gap with plenty of worked out problems.

The book is great for detailed derivations and exercises, however, the layout of chapters is a bit confusing. It's not easy to make which chapter has started after a few topics are covered. The layout could have been user friendly. The paper quality is cheap and the price is high. The could have used a better quality paper with maybe a little higher price.

Every aspects of the QM is lucidly explained. One of the best and most essential book for beginners (or a person from other field). Thanks to the author for writing such a lucid and useful book.

I like this. It is useful for csir-net exam.but it didn't cover the entire csir syllubus. But the explanation is very clear. Students can understand the subject very clearly.

Very good book

Students with +2 physics background can now learn quantum mechanics using this book. Don’t let the 1000 page volume deter you. It’s huge because it is interspersed with good number of solved problems. I always wanted to read sakurai and this marvel of a book helped in achieving my dream come true. Prof Guha’s passion is evident in each page of this book. I can’t appreciate him enough.
