UV50 Lycra Hood for Warm Water Scuba Diving - Black

I have an extra large head and it works really well. The flared out base stays underneath my rash guard easily and definitely protects my head from torching sun and jellyfish among other seaweed and garbage floating on the surface of the water. Definitely worth the money and good quality stitching. You don't need sunscreen wearing this hood.

While snorkeling on the Great barrier reef in Australia, my head got too much sun. I bought this to stop the sun from burning my head and it really works. This is easy to put on and take off. You can barely feel it while snorkeling. I highly recommend this item.

Light weight and great for warmer waters. I did have to burn a hole in the top as the exhale bubbles tended to make it balloon out.

I spent 7 days snorkeling in the South Pacific. The water temperature was 82, but the sun was intense. This good provided excellent UV protection without any effect on my body temperature. It was comfortable, especially keeping my very long hair from tangling with my mask. I love it!
