Great learning experience
I bought this for my grandson. I thought it was just a blender type toy to simulate a tornadoe, but it actually teaches how a tornado works. Also very durable with a water tight lid. He still plays with it today.

Affordable and fun experiment for kids
I purchased this for my 5 year old son who is currently highly fascinated by tornadoes and turbulent weather systems. Instructions are easy to understand - we got this up and running in almost no time. My son thinks this is so much fun, and will turn it on and watch it throughout the day. Battery life (3 AAA batteries) is good. Definitely worth the money I paid for it - Quality is as expected. Experiment variety is pretty limited, but my son loves to put the green and blue foam pieces that came with the experiment and watch them travel up and down the tornado. The sound effects are a nice touch! I definitely recommend this experiment.

Gift for 7 yo boy
Fun gift for 7 year old boy who loves the weather. Appeared to be a good size and value for the one but not sure about quality or ease of use since it was a gift.

Fun!
Very cool! My child who loves tornados loves this. He likes to add or remove the "debris" and he enjoys the different ways to view the tornado. You can control the speed/size of tornado. I think its a really good size and makes a fun gift. It is a little noises, but its fun. I like that it is battery operated and easy for a kid to use. Good quality

Stopped working properly
The first one I purchased had the screw on so tight that I accidentally stripped it without noticing. The screw is on there super tight and cheaply made. The second one I exchanged for was also EXTREMELY tight but I now knew to be careful. Once I got it open and set up it only worked for a few days. Gave it as a gift for Christmas. It’s Jan 9 and my son mentioned this morning that this was the worst gift he got. Do not recommend buying.

Favorite Christmas gift
My severely ADHD 8 year old son sat and stared at this for 45 minutes straight on Christmad day. I could not believe it. Out of everything he got, this has by far gotten the most attention.

different levels of tornados.
I bought this for my grandson who is 4 years old. he loves it. there is a button that makes a tornado noise. and there are different levels of tornados that you can see by turning the orange button. the lid stays on good. and it comes with little Styrofoam pieces to put in the tornado so you can see how a tornado would pick up things in real life.
