RCBS Chargemaster Supreme - Accurate and Reliable Powder Scale and Dispenser, Fast and Consistent, Ideal for Precision Shooting and Reloading

I have been using an old Chargemaster 1500 to dispense charges, and then trickle up to exact weight on a lab grade scale. It is a system that works very well, but Is slow because the Chargemaster 1500 would under throw or overthrow by up to 3/4 of a grain even with the straw modification. The Chargemaster Supreme seems to be much more accurate, throwing charges that fall right in line with the lab grade scale. Out of 50 cases (308 Win using Varget), I only had three or four that needed adjustment , the rest were dead on. This is a tremendous improvement. User interface is good, but I haven't had reason to try the App. I especially like the Learn feature that throws a few charges of a powder to "optimize dispensing" of a particular powder. It's automated, and only takes a minute or two. Overall, the Chargemaster Supreme seems to throw charges of powder quickly, and accurately. I was able to increase the speed of my ammo production while still maintaining better, more consistent charge weights than before at a reasonable price.

RCBS; great products. This replaced a 25 yo ProScale and Pro Dispenser. Easy to set up, easy to clean (Although first thing I did was wipe off all the plastic surfaces with an anti-static cloth.) Directions are good/complete (I did watch several YouTube videos prior to ordering to familiarize myself with the unit.) Accurate; when comparing dispensed powder with a known additional scale. I like the fact it tells you how many throws you've made and the save throws matching powder/cartridge/rifle/bullet - THE APP is sensational! Great product, great price - QUALITY.

I've been using a balance beam scale for 35 years to load rifle cartridges; pistol cartridges get loaded on a progressive press (at least until I couldn't find primers any longer). I'll confess to a little OCD when it comes to my rifle cartridges, and I'm very careful with the charge weight, so I was reluctant to try a dispenser. I'm glad now that I did; the charge weight has been within .1 grain, and usually right on. The machine is very easy to use, speeds up my reloading, and is much easier on my poor eyes. The 'Learn' feature is very useful in getting a charge dispensed quickly. I can't comment yet on durability, but to this point the machine has exceeded my expectations.

The scale is absolutely spot on. If I had one complaint it would be that one out of every 7-8 charges it over fills the powder in the cup by about .003. I just dump it back and have it do another one but most of the time it’s absolutely perfect. And it is SUPER fast. I trust this scale 100%

Works great for what it is. Wish it read to the .02 gr instead of just .1gr. I measure it against another scale I have that is much more accurate so it’s not a big deal. I just wanted this for its auto load function to speed things up and get close.

I’m comparing this unit to the original chargemaster 1500, which I’ve had for about 15 years now. It has always been reliable but does have some drawbacks which the new unit fixed. First off the new unit is so much lighter than the old one. I was truly amazed at the weight difference. Second, the issue of overthrows have been pretty much solved with the learn programming built into the this unit. You run the program and it optimizes the charge weight based on the type of powder you’re using. It’s a three-step process to run through and it’s a little bit time consuming but I think worth it in the end. Finally they have a drain open alarm that reminds you to close the drain valve before you put in new powder. Should not repeat that mistake ever again… lol.

This is a game changer,been using the uniflow on my ammomaster auto since 1995,it was time to upgrade
