This thing is a power house, the current Gen flag ships are of course faster but the i7-12700kf is plenty for competition level fortnite players even under stock settings, over clocked you get really get the frame rate up high on cpu based games such as fortnite. This cpu definitely has the gaming horsepower, with this cpu, 64gb of 7200mhz ddr5 and a 3060ti it runs DCS (digital combat simulator)beautifully and I mean beautifully with no bottle necking at the cpu, if anything the 3060ti is the bottle neck with this system now. Runs very efficiently with a simple 120mm aio providing the cooling, no need for a 240mm aio unless you are running extreme demand for extended amounts of time with it over clocked to the max, in that case yeah you will want a 240mm aio. A good set of intake and exhaust fans and a good 120mm aio and cooling will be of no issue for most people. This processor really is a great value considering the extremely high performance it's capable of yet at a great price and not having the need to run a 300 dollar cooling system to keep temps in check. I generally don't leave a review when I buy a product because doing so prematurely wouldn't be objective. I've had this processor running for 18 months, working 12 to 16 hours a day. I do video editing, up to 4K quality, using programs like Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve, as well as artificial intelligence, After Effects, and photo retouching. I haven't had any problems. I have it with liquid cooling, and the case has good ventilation. Before this processor, I had a Ryzen processor and experienced workflow issues, so I decided to switch to Intel. After researching industry professionals who recommended it, I decided this was the best option, and I don't regret it. I haven't had any problems; it's fast and, to this day, reliable.

A very good CPU, easy to install, great price, unlocked to overclock, and very good stability, but upgraded to the i9-14900KS

I bought this CPU with internal graphics primarily to have backup if my primary installed GPU should fail. Also for the speed and quality of the CPU itself, it satisfies. But the internal graphics not so much. I used it's graphics for the time I was shopping and waiting for my ordered GPU and was not impressed. I would never want to depend on it permanently. My TV monitor continually had issues with detecting it's source and would drop connection on occasion, forcing me to have to continually reset HDMI cable in it's port. A real irritation and pain. Is this a problem with the MBs HDMI port or the CPU. I don't know, but either way it ain't good. Nor did I care much for the overall look of the graphics it provided. Just not quality. I have been using a big screen TV for a monitor my for many years and never had this issue, so I don't think it's the TV. Still the cost of an I7 K vs an I7 KF is negligible so why not go for the one with graphics in case I ever need it. For a short while.

I upgraded from a Dell XPS 8930 with an i7-8700 to this. Built a new machine with ASUS chassis and motherboard. i7-12700KF is a nice CPU and doesn't come with GPU embedded. I have a MSI 3050 graphics card which works for my needs. I don't play games, this is a work machine. 32GB Corsair dram and Samsung 990 EVO NVMe SDDs. No spinning disks or CD. System runs Win 11 really well. Do lots of spreadsheet work and video format conversions. Quite happy with it.

I don't know how most pc builders are sleeping on this Intel Chip, it's beyond capable. Paired with with a b760 motherboard on ddr5 ram, I was a little skeptical on whether I should overcloack the RAM with XMP because the Intel website says it caps at 4,600 mhz, but I tried it, I tested the XMP and maxing the 2 x 16 DDR5 RAM at 6000 GHz, as a result: no issue at all as I say this chip is more than capable. 0% bottle neck on my 5060ti 16gb.
