As a newcomer to Canada, I needed this cable to set up my Wi-Fi, and it was exactly what I needed. Not only was it cheaper than what I found at Best Buy, but having it delivered straight to my door saved me the hassle of shopping around for a better deal as had so many other things to sort and arrange. Why I Recommend It: Affordable Price: Much cheaper than in-store options, especially for someone on a budget. Convenient Delivery: It arrived quickly, and I didn’t have to waste time or energy visiting multiple stores. Quality Product: Worked perfectly for my Wi-Fi setup without any issues. If you’re looking for a simple, reliable, and cost-effective solution for setting up your internet, this cable is a great choice. Highly recommend it for anyone needing quick and easy Wi-Fi setup!

I had some problems with premises cabling as installed by Comcast. Three times, I had troubleshooters arrive, look at the cabling, and make some changes — including changing what the previous troubleshoot had done. I kept getting less-than-optimal signal strength and my Internet and streaming TV signals would drop. Anyway, I removed a splitter that one of the troubleshooters had installed in my home office, just upstream of my cable modem, and installed a high-quality cable extension adapter (VCE Gold Plated F-Type Coaxial RG6 Cable Extension Adapter) to the short length of the main cable left behind in the office and then installed a five- or six-foot length of coax cable left by Comcast between the adapter and my cable modem (the third new modem in a year). I still had the problems, so I replaced the coax cable with a six-foot length of this Philips Elite cable. I wasn't expecting much of an improvement, but I immediately had improved signal strength both downstream and upstream. None of the problems have come back and I've experienced good, stable service since. Yes, I know that simply getting the splitter out of the cable run and replacing a possibly questionable coax cable left by Comcast could account for most or all of the improvement, but I still highly recommend this cable. It's doing its part in providing great service now.
