I’ll start off with the messy part. It came a bit ‘slimy’ if that’s the proper word when I first opened it. But I believe it was just like that because of the heat when it traveled to my home but that’s to be expected considering it’s a type of paint/makeup so it’s not the persons fault. Now for the palette itself, very good quality and very pigmented. A little goes a long way. It also comes with new brushes if difference sizes for different designs/projects. I’ve tested every color on my leg and wiped it out with a makeup remover. It does stay on your skin afterwards so be careful (the reason why I tested it on my leg since it won’t be noticeable while wearing pants). But if you shower or take it off with warm water and mild soap, it should come out (don’t rub). The palette is pretty big and the colors will last you for a while considering how much product it has. Other than that, great product, I may buy more in the future.

I got these face paints for my daughter and granddaughter. At first we were very frustrated as to why the paint wouldn’t come off of the paint brushes. And as to why the paint was so greasy and smudging so much. Then we tried oil (we used vegetable oil) in between each color and it worked perfectly. Just make sure to wipe off all of the extra oil when you’re done. We have not found a solution to keeping the paint on without smudging yet. We used oil and baby wipes to wipe off the designs. We’ve found that way works best.

Expected more from this pallet. After reading reviews I was excited to get it, but when I used it I was very disappointed in the pigmentation I got.

We bought this product to face paint and do makeup videos. It was a great purchase for do both and bring smiles to faces. I would purchase again.

I was able to use it. It was greasy and hard to clean off of brushes. You have to use setting powder or it will get everywhere. I am just leaning and I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner like myself. I would suggest water activated face paint it set up fast and is easy to clean off with soap and water or a make up wipe.
