These are a nice, cheap alternative to the boot-shaped inserts
These are a nice, cheap alternative to the boot-shaped inserts. I love that you get 2 pairs for this price. The plastic on these is thin but seems like it will hold its shape. I have two identical pairs of boots (different colors only) that come to about mid-calf. For one pair I didn't cut the inserts, but for the other pair I decided to cut the inserts/boot shapers down to the medium size (see photo). At either height, these inserts work fine for my boots to give them shape so that they don't fall over anymore. If you decide to cut the inserts down to the medium or small size, I would advise that you use scissors to do this. There are perforations for each size but I think the perforations are meant to be more of a guide. It's relatively easy to accidentally tear the insert if you try to tear along the perforation line. I found this out by trial and error, although the error was easily repaired with packing tape. Overall I really like these and I'm glad I didn't have to pay a fortune for something I really needed to keep my boots in good shape.

Excellent value, work great
These are simple shapes of die-cut black plastic that you bend and insert into boots to keep them upright. The plastic has enough to springiness that they expand to the width of the boot. The plastic also has a slight ribbing on one side (the side you put facing the boots) so they don't slip. Height is adjustable for short, med and tall boots. You can see in the photo that they just peek over the top of my mid calf boots and are totally hidden inside my over the knee boots, but they work fine on them. These look very neat and organized. They are an incredible bargain! you get 2 sets in the package, enough to for 2 pairs of boots.

Great bargain
Cheap, fast shipping. Easy to use took me a few minutes to do both boots. Length was perfect for the boots I needed it for. Flexes easily.

Works well as a boot shaper
I was looking for something reasonable in the way of a boot shaper. I saw this one and it seemed like it was fairly well reviewed. Also, getting 2 for less than $10 seemed like a good deal. Granted, these are not wooden boot trees. That is something else, and requires a considerably larger investment. They are pretty much what they appear to be. They have perforations so you can shorten them if you want to put them in ankle boots or mid-calf boots. I bought a few sets and put them in my boots. My one complaint about them is in their stating that you can use these boot shapers to hang boots onto a boot tree. I know they say that you MAY be able to, based on linings and such but none of my boots were remotely likely to be hung by these and I'd like to see how many people can actually get their boots to hang on these. They just don't have much holding the shaper against the inside of the boot. It has enough force to keep your boot standing but not really enough to hold it up in the air. In my opinion. I think you would have to have some ridiculously lightweight boots for that to work. Or minute calves. But as shapers, they work just fine.

Easy to use
For the price I found these very practical and easy to use. The sheets come with perforated edges for each size boot shaft height and the perforated edge make them very easy to cut straight. I even used the little left over pieces left over from what I already cut off and put them into a pair of shoe style boots so they would hold their shape. Very easy to use. Find the height for your boot shaft, cut the perforated edge, roll it up and it opens up when you put it inside your boot which makes your boots stand up straight and not flop over. My young niece even figured it out quickly and helped me. If you can cut a piece of paper, you can cut these. Can't figure out the people that had problems????

Not bad for the price
I use them to hold up two different pairs of soft suede knee high boots. Other reviewers are right, there's no way the loops can be used to hang the boots from a hook, unless you fasten the boot shaper to the boot itself using binder clips or clothespins or similar, but who wants to do that? The shapers do a decent-enough job of keeping the boots' shape, but I make them sort of lean up against each other because otherwise the boot shafts will fall to the side at the ankle, even with the shapers in. I think this might be because I keep insoles in the boots and the shapers sit on top of the insoles, and the suede is very thin and soft, so if you don't wear insoles and your boots are made of tougher material, you might not have this problem. Still, for the price, they're doing more or less what I want them to do, so I'm happy. Eventually I'll invest in nicer wooden ones, but these are good enough for now.

This is an excellent product, high 5 stars!!!
I have a pair of 4 inch platform boots that are 22 inches tall. I also did not like folding them and putting them in the box for storage because the leather material would crease and damage over time. Plus if I tried to stand the boots up on their own, they'd fall over from the height. There had to be a solution to put something inside my boots to have them stand up (keep in mind they are 22 inches tall). I watched a Youtube video on boot shape shifters (using this exact product), and after a while I had to buy these and see how they work on my boots. I was amazed at what I saw. They are very very easy to shape into depending on the height of your boot. I ended up putting the whole length (17.5 inches) of the plastic shape shifter in my boot (22 inches), and it worked. Sure you couldn't see the plastic (very durable and not flimsy) that went in my boot, but it held it up sturdy and the boot did not crease at all. I can't wait to try this on my Hunter boots; I have four pair; red, green, pink, and classic black. I'm making a video for sure on the usage of these boot shape shifters and posting it to my Instagram account. I know people will love it. Thank you Amazon for an amazing product that is durable and very very easy to use!
