I have several food allergies, dairy being amongst them, and am on a habitual search for a great dairy free protein powder. I believe I found it! Truvani tastes really great, contains more protein than many of the dairy free options and is very sustaining . I have tried several flavors and so far they have all been good !

I drink it with just plain water. I tried banana cinnamon flavor. Cinnamon flavor is not strong ( I hate cinnamon but I like this flavor).Tastes really good reminds me of a energy drink that I used to drink during my childhood days. Very sweet for my tastebuds though.

The ingredients are hard to argue with because they're so clean with on 7 ingredients buuutt the taste is hard to get past. I tried the banana cinnamon thinking cinnamon is strong and surely it would taste pretty good?! Wrong, there wasn't a banana or cinnamon flavor to be detected anywhere. All you taste is peas 🫛. I even tried mixing it with different things to dusguise the flavor but there just is no covering up that pea protein flavor. I am however going to try a different flavor but only because the simple clean ingredients are hard to come by. Its a love hate relationship at this point.

The banana cinnamon is very chunky and gritty despite using a handheld mixer. I added one scoop to 12 oz califia plant based milk and it tasted like raw pancake batter. I had to take bites of steak and rice in between each sip to mask/even tolerate getting it down. I also attempted to use the powder to make protein pancakes and the batter was so thin no matter how much powder I would add. The pancakes were so crumbly. I even tried to put the batter in the waffle maker and it did not hold shape either. I ended up with pancake crumbles. I could not even flip the pancakes and had to scrape the waffle out of the waffle maker. I have the scraps to my 3 dogs and they would not even eat them. I really like the ingredients listed but the banana cinnamon tastes terrible. I attempted to return this but I was deferred to the manufacturer for direct contact as opposed to easy return through Amazon. I am sticking with boba tea protein brand. Bona tea protein blends well with no chunks and actually tastes good.

Very clean ingredients. Delicious shake. Not happy about the increase in price for the quantity.

Simple and efficient using more than a year

Although this is pricey, I do believe it is worth it when it comes to your health. These are CLEAN ingredients that you can read. The taste is soooooo delicious. This will be my go-to when I am looking for something sweet.
