I'm blind as heck and quite clumsy, so I have to wear thick spectacles that are literally prescription machinist glasses for added durability. That means they're not the lightest coke bottles around. And I run a whole lot. I also have a crooked bridge to my nose. My glasses slipping down my nose is the bane of my existence.I've tried everything else—hooks, rubber sleeves on the arms, you name it. But THESE geek straps are my favorite.Specifically, I'm referring to the nylon version that are more like string. I also tried the wire kind, which would work for sunglasses, but they're not the most comfortable for putting the back of your head against anything in any lounging position and they stick out the back if not cranked fully down. The nylon string-like version are the best all-around, in my opinion. They're light, soft enough, and will lay down flat on the back of your head/neck when loosened.I like that these are super lightweight, comfortable, not bulky on the backs of my ears, and hold onto the arms very well—even when the ends of the arms are skinny. You can't see them from the front, so folks will only bear witness to your true dorkdom as you walk away. But they work so well that you won't care what others think about you.The tension around the back is easily adjusted in a second, meaning you can lock them down if you're about to do something really active or loosen then up if you need to clean/defog the lenses without taking them completely off. I also like that the length/tension stays put however you leave it. Sometimes, I just want to loosen them a little so they let my glasses sit further down my nose to help them breathe and defog if I'm too hot from running. Other times, I can totally loosen the tension and hang them around my neck for when I need to access my face—such as reapplying sunscreen, etc. If I ever needed to lock them down to go skydiving...ok, I'm not sure if they'd stay put on a skydive, but I've ever been bored enough in life to want to go skydiving. Long story short, It's your call, they have your back—meaning your glasses.So, if you want a way to keep your glasses on your face or around your neck on occasion, the SiGonna Geek Straps are for you. I know they're not officially called that, but as a marketing person, I think they should lean into it.

Fast shipping good snug fit onto the glasses seems like good quality

For reasons irrelevant here, I haven’t been able to get my loose reading glasses adjusted, and they’ve been falling off my face when I look down at the page. It was driving me insane, but I dislike the traditional glasses retainers, which are too thick and have that tail in back.I just received these today, quickly installed one on my readers, and it’s perfect! My glasses stay on, and the thing is completely comfortable. I don’t feel it at all. The adjustment is simple and quick. AND I can slip my glasses off my ears when I’m not reading and they rest a couple of inches under my chin, and the retainer is so light and thin that again, I don’t feel it at all.I’ve only used it for a day, so can’t speak to it’s durability, but I’d happily buy it again if I had to. I’m a designer and I really love to see well designed products.I’m putting the second one on my sun glasses so I don’t have to always stick them on my head. Awkward when I’m wearing a hat.

Exactly what I was looking for! All three pieces of my eyewear tended to slide off my face which was quite annoying. Some have thick frames and some have real thin frames and this product fit all three of them perfectly. Is how eyewear should fit.

I bought these to hold my husbands glasses while he was on all of the amusement park rides. They worked great. HE always had to take his glasses off and that bothered him. He didn't want to lose or break his glasses while they were not on his head. He went on all of the rides and could see. That was a lot nicer for him. They held tight and did not pull on his hair. They also worked for his regular glasses and his sunglasses. That was a big plus. His sunglasses have a larger bow and these fit both perfectly. he also loved that they were long enough for his head. These were a great find.

This is truly an excellent product at a great price for the high quality. It fits both women and men equally well. It solves all the problems of glasses constantly falling off when wearing masks for work, recreation, driving. Without mask also lets me position glasses precisely so my trifocal blended lenses also stay put at the optimum focal distance at all three levels with zero movement. It makes a HUGE difference in function. None of the usual problems--more comfortable at the ears than without. Adjustment at back is very snug, but I do not feel it at all once it is set. Quick smooth release to take glasses off with no snagging snarling of cord. Really, it is a perfect design and production item. I am ordering them as gift for family, friends and colleagues.
