Orlimar Golf Mat for Optishot Simulator (4' x 5')

Hitting off of this mat is great. Feels good even on miss hits. Wide enough for a good stance. Can be used without optishot, just flip it around. The hole won’t bother.

Overall fine item. The mat won't sit level with your optishot so you will need to add something below to even it out. Even with that this is a much cheaper option than other mats that fit optishot. I used 2 layers of foam exercise mats underneath and everything aligns perfectly now.

The mat is a little low for the optishot. I added a 1.5 - 2 inch foam insulation sheet to the underside and it brought it up the exact high of my optishot. Mat is very durable and feels great for swinging off.

The optishot unit was garbage, but we kept the Matt. We bought much better launch monitor, cut this Matt up and reused it in our sim and it has held up well with heavy use.

This product is virtually required if you're purchasing the Optishot program. However, although its built to support the system (ie. the optishot fits perfectly into the slot designed for it) it's not built level. You will be required to either purchase or build a platform to raise the level of this mat to match that of the optishot launch pad. No sense in practicing your game on a uneven swing plain. The product itself is built with higher quality material and I'm sure as result it was last longer than the optishot unit itself. I have a hard time understanding the price point, but I guess limited vendor options allows for an inflated price. Its required, its overpriced, it's not a turnkey solution for the Optishot but its your best option for the price point.
