I love this scent. If only it would last longer. But still smells divine

I adore the Tom Ford Neroli Portofino perfume, but as a limited edition product it is very very expensive. I have bought a small bottle to try but couldn’t justify buying it again and the fragrance only lasted 30 mins. For an expensive perfume this was ridiculous and the worst I have ever worn. When I saw this product and with good reviews I couldn’t resist trying it and I am delighted I have. I’ve been wearing it every day and it is actually identical to the original and I have a really good sense of smell. More amazingly it lasts for 5 hours minimum on my skin, I can’t believe it. I’m so pleased I had to write this review, I don’t normally bother but this is exceptional. I was very disappointed with the TF perfume, but loved the smell, so I’m very happy I have found this and took a chance with it. I would recommend this to anyone and would try others.

Fragrances are very subjective things, and this one I don't particularly like. It's overpowering initially, strongly citrus, fortunately not sweet, but I'm not getting neroli, which is what I bought it for, even though I knew it was a copy fragrance. Beautifully packaged, would make a great gift for anybody who likes citrus and you don't want to spend a lot of money. Fortunately, the initial blast soon settles down and becomes a bit more subtle, but this bottle has still been relegated to "room spray" in this household. One good bonus though, is that a couple of sprays of this on my clothes before walking the dog has resulted in a complete absence of bites by 'skeeters and horse flies, I'm usually eaten alive at this time of year. Avon's Skin So Soft is usually my default anti midge spray, but it stinks. This is a better alternative. But as a stand alone fragrance? Just no. I'll stick with my Ysatis, thanks!

Initial spray it smells good, but then after a few minutes it dries down and smells like the throat choking perfume your grandmother would slather on.

Nice smell like the original minus the price tag. Smell doesn't last as long but at this price you can afford to refresh more often.

Beautiful, fresh scent.

I had no idea these are designer-inspired perfumes and simply ordered it on the basis of what I hoped it would smell like. And wow what a happy day for me!! I had been using Imperial Leather Mandarin & Neroli shower gel and just loved it so much I thought wouldn't it be great if I can get a fragrance or even a body spray like this? So Pure Portofino popped up in the searches and at £15 it was worth trying. Arrived by 8.30am next day, tried it immediately and absolutely love it! Smells even better than I hoped and it's now 8pm and while it has faded (not unreasonable in my opinion), I can still smell it. Very pleased and will definitely order again.

I’m so impressed by the price paid and how much it smells like the original. Obviously not 100% identical but I might actually prefer it. It’s stronger in the Neroli scent which I absolutely love! Can’t speak on longevity just yet as I’ve only had it on for 2 hours, however I can still smell it very strongly on myself! Something I don’t get with the original, I feel like it fades after an hour or so. Which is ridiculous for the amount you pay. If you like the TF Portofino and are on a budget I don’t see why you wouldn’t give this a go! I’ll definitely be repurchasing! Thanks so much!
