Hario Bamboo Coffee Syphon Stir Stick

I don't know why, but I love this stick... Being a coffee freak, this is my go-to stirring for the french press, coffee cup, to-go cup, even used it when making tea etc... It washes so easily, and depending on what your stirring, you just need to wash it good, dry it, then done. Being bamboo it doesn't hold flavors or mix flavors, so makes it perfect if you want your cup of joe untouched. Feels pretty sturdy, well made. Overall great product and will probably buy a couple more of these.

I purchased this oar for my pet guinea pig since he made the varsity rowing team at his university this year. The bonus is that it can used to stir the grounds in a french press when water is added without worrying about breaking the glass.

It’s a five dollar stick. You can’t really expect too much or can you? I use it to make French press. It does the job with a few buts… I wish it were a bit heavier/thicker and with a square end. It’s lacking stir output due to its weight and rounded end.

I got this to stir coffee in a French press 34 oz, and it is perfect for that. I like that it's actually made in Japan, too, and not too expensive, although it's just a stick.

Can't get much more simple then this. It's working great though, much prefer it to plastic alternatives.

What can i say, if you have a hario coffee siphon, then you need one of these coffee stirers, it's made of bamboo, so the durability is there. If you watch any of the hario youtube videos, you see almost everyone uses these stir sticks. Should it be 5.xx? well, probably not, but it is a hario and it's shipped from japan, so considering, the 5 bucks wasn't that much.

Was hoping for a flat end like the one in the product picture. The one I received has a very rounded edge. I'm using it to scrape the inside of a round container but not as round as the end of the stick if that makes sense. I would be better off with a flat or much less rounded edge (just like the one in the picture of the product I though I was buying!) I'll probably just end up cutting it or something to make it flatter so $5 for a wooden stick I have to shape myself! Not my wisest purchase! Included some pictures so you can see. Nothing wrong with it in itself just different than what I thought I was getting. I even angled it like it is in the picture and it doesn't look the same. I have too much time on my hands right now, lol!

Francamente mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Immaginavo fosse un puro sfizio, sostanzialmente inutile, ma ero convinto si trattasse almeno di un bell'oggetto. Le finiture sono invece pessime: è arrivato leggermente curvo e coi contorni irregolari (e dubito sia così perché fatto a mano!). Già dopo pochi giorni sembra quasi che comincino a staccarsi le prime schegge. Soldi buttati. Veramente inutile e costoso.

It's excellent for stirring coffee in a French press (although it's hardly a taxing job!) and just seems better to use than a knife or other sharp metal utensil (which was my boyfriend's usual!). Hardly life-changing but can't fault the product :)

普通の竹べらです。 徐々に色がついていくのは使っていて楽しいかもです。 付属のヘラがついているならそれで充分かと。 折れてしまったので新しく買いましたが、特に使用感の違いは素人には分かりませんでした。 いっそ珈琲でがっつり染めてみるのも面白いかも知れません。
