LCD arrived on time and works flawlessly. SevenPuppy goes well beyond most other sellers. Not only is a full toolkit provided, they also include a 20+ page full color installation manual which is easy to follow, and well put together. Replacing these screens can be very challenging and if you are not used to it will take a LOT of patience and some time. The manual is extremely helpful. Packing is very good as well to protect during shipping. I had ordered from SevenPuppy a few months ago for another job, and the screen did not work. Got it on time delivered, it came as it was specified. I soent an hour to replace my MacBooks broken screen. Instructions are there but not as helpful. But in you tube you can find a good video how to. Scenn was good. O ly issue I see is the quality of the camera results , it appears I only get 480p, lots of grains in the video. I am not sure about this related to the produxt it self or some other issue in software of hardware. I do not use a lot on the camera so I may not worry too much on it. If you care about camera quality please be warned. Otherwise my light sensing works as expected and my brighty is changing as expected based on available light. Worth the cost if you can do it your self , save lot of money compare to sending it to Mac store. Color match was perfect for my space gray. Looks original replacement.

I bought two units. One worked perfectly well. The other one was defective, showing only pink vertical columns on the same macbook where the working unit was also installed. [Added 03/10/2024] However, the supplier was very generous to offer me a discount for the purchase of another unit. I highly recommend this seller for their excellent customer service. [Added 3/25/2024] I completed replacing the screen assembly of another Macbook Pro 2017, and uploaded a video showing all the QC stickers at the back of the screen, then panning to the front showing a fully functional screen.

This replacement was ideal and worked perfectly after my 2017 13" macbook pro display suddenly turned pink (flexgate2 problem). The camera on the new display works and the screen brightness can be modified. The screen looks like a factory replacement after install. Screwdrivers and pry tools provided in this kit worked well and were good quality. The only suggestion I have would be for a suction cup to be provided. Many install videos will use a small suction cup to remove the back panel at the beginning of the repair. Without the suction cup I needed to use a knife to get under the rear panel. The cost ($200 after tax and 1.5 hours of labor) surely beats the $500-$700 I was quoted for the repair at the App** Store.

2016 MacBook Pro model A1706 has an inherited LCD screen defect with a “stage lights” issue that eventually killed the screen. It was the ribbon cable that separated the connector from opening and closing the LCD screen, see photo. I am glad I bought this replacement LCD screen as it works well for my MacBook. I have no issues with the brightness. of the LCD screen in any display modes (bright, dark, night shift). The camera also works., see video. My only complaint is with a few bright spots at the bottom of the screen when I log off, see photo. These bright spots disappear when I log in. It is not a big deal as I didn't want the trouble to return it for replacement. Overall, good value replacement LCD screen that will give my MacBook a few more years of use.

My screen broke on my A1708 Macbook Pro so I ordered a replacement from another site. It looked cheap, didn't line up with the hinge screw holes properly and when I installed it the screen had vertical lines and was fuzzy. I got a refund and thought I would try a different screen, hoping the computer wasn't faulty. I ordered this screen and it works perfectly! Saved me so much money on buying a new laptop or getting it professionally replaced. It is of much higher quality than the other one I ordered. It's easy enough to install on your own with tools and patience. Would 100% recommend!

The torx tools & plastic pry wedge included do offer all that is needed to disassemble then put together the iMac screen. There is no adhesive required, just need screw location. There are a few delicate connectors and the screen has the ribbons included which makes it faster to replace the entire piece. The frame and glass match the original base so there is no noticeable difference from the replaced piece.

For some reasons this company is Seven puppy but for really it should be ten puppy as the product was 10/10 and even the quality of the tools included in the package were on point thumbs up.

It works as described. Worth the money spent than expensive replacement from Apple store on old laptops.
