The color is shown as 'marsh' but my grandson asked for 'waterfowl marsh' - is this the same thing ?

Yes. "Marsh" would = waterfowl, and waterfowl marsh. Plus, "Marsh" is the only one of the five patterns offered that is close to anything waterfowl or marsh. I have several of these gators and it is surprising how much difference the silly things make. Is it cold out? Don't forget your gator.

Does it have the polygiene scent control?

No clue. But I'll add this - it doesn't matter. This covers a very small part of you. Even if scent control works, which rigorous tests show it doesn't (Field and Stream, for one), this is locking up what, 5% of your scent? Presuming you are not asking about the waterfowl pattern gator, since scent isn't really a factor in wingshooting, but assuming all the patterns either have the scent control or don't. They are great for comfort and cozy warmth, so, if you like, just spray it down with one of the scent control sprays. I think they work a little bit, just not enough to matter to nature's amazing noses. Ozonics works but is difficult to employ in the field.

Does this neck gator stretch? Or is the fit tight?

This neck gaiter has a little stretch in it. I have a 7 1/4 hat size and fits over my head great. I hope this helps.

It's this made in the usa?

I am not sure however it is a very warm neck gaiter. Unfortunately not much is made in the USA anymore.

Don’t hunt in cold weather without one

Bought one for myself 3 years ago with the rest of my Sitka gear. The Scheels store guy said I was lucky that they still have them. He said Chiefs fans come in and clear them out for cold Sunday football games. It’s amazing. Zero chill down your neck and back and so soft and comfortable. It locks in that natural body heat and it feels amazing. One of the best pieces of hunting gear I have… so much so I had Santa get one for the whole family. Get one.. you won’t regret it!

"Must Have" Gear for Cold Weather

This neck gator is FANTASTIC! It is way better than a scarf because it stays in place and it blocks the wind. It really eliminates drafts around your neck and ears and is extremely comfortable. It's great for hunting or just going on walks when it's cold and windy. After I tried mine, I bought three more for my boys, and they really enjoy them as well.

Good not great. Sitka is very expensive.

I think the Kuiu brand gives you a bit more bang for the buck in this particular item. Hats and gators or mufds all seem thicker and less pricey.

Bought for the Arctic, I'm impressed.

Brought this with me to the Arctic! It's so soft, so warm and so comfortable. Excellent piece of gear, we have been in some serious weather and this is perfect to keep my neck, mouth and nose warm. (-67F).
