Good solid budget lens for new photographer.
The lens is heavy metal and I absolutely love how it feels when you adjust it. The dials are easy to ready and compliment the design aesthetically and from a functional design point. The add-on focus wrench sticks on with a couple of pieces of 3M tape that you just have to peel off and it makes it much easier to adjust. I only had the kit lens 16-50mm for my Sony a6400 and wanted another lens with a lower light aperture for portraits and landscape photography. The f 1.4 aperture is great for blurring backgrounds and getting some good portrait shots. You can adjust the aperture to get sharper pictures overall. I would recommend this lens for anybody getting into the hobby and wanting a little bit more of a challenge than autofocus as I Believe the biggest limitations in photography are the photographer themselves and spending thousands of dollars on gear won't help you unless you know what you're doing. Professional photographers can justify the price of expensive lenses as they know what they're doing and it takes money to make money. Great if you like taking pictures indoors and have control over your environment and range from which your shooting. And if your adventurous, take it out for street photography and see what you can do. Great price for anyone wanting to try something different.

Not a bad lens.
You have to tweak it to find the sweet spot. Very good depth of field (nice blur) I use it with a Nikon z6ii

Love it for the price
Images come out clear and crisp. It looks better taking pictures of people! Attached some pictures. It can be difficult with the manual focus, but overall for the price totally worth it.

Really nice lens for Nikon Z50
Wow! Really nice lens. I recently picked back up the hobby of photography and a Nikon Z50. Which is a really nice camera. I wanted some lens options and found this one. Being manual focus will be fun and challenging but this really is a nice lens for the money. The lens is solid and almost has a compact size and feel to it. Packaging was superb and I can't be happier and again I'm looking forward to taking photos and sharpening my manual focus skills!

Outstanding lense
I am extremely pleased with this lens. I am very new to the hobby of photography. So I cannot elaborate on any of the technical specifications. The feature that is the most impressive to me that I am able to take decent photos in very low light conditions, indoors even in the evening. The price is reasonable and I am pleased with the quality of the images I am able to take. This is a manual lens but I don’t mind this at all. The quality is good, it works as advertised and I enjoy using it more than the other two lenses I own.

Great value
Surprised how good it is for the price. Feels burly and strong, too. Subjects shot at 1.4f

Awesome little gem to introduce you to manual photography.
This little gem is amazing for portraits. I actually bought it because I was curious. I've never used a fully mechanical lens. I have a little R100 that has no image stabilization. I followed a tutorial to set on Camera on Manual. What I wish I new as a newbie first timer. The lens won't work out of the box but it's not a bad lens. Just the camera is not set for mechanical lens. For Canon EOS R cameras. Set dial to M or Manual Go to Settings Under the Camera Icon find MF peaking - Enable Now Go to Wrench Icon and Find Custom Functions or (C.Fn) - Select Under it scroll to find "Release Shutter w/o lens". - Enable Now your camera will take photos, ⚠️ remember to undo this for other lenses. The way I learned for Still Portraits with strong bokeh, THIS IS JUST A BASELINE TO GET YOU STARTED. Start with a really well-lit area. Maybe outside till you get the hang of it. Turn first dial to 1.4 Set the shutter speed to match MM of the lens. In this case the lens is 35mm so set to 1/40 Start with the ISO at 100 and increase ISO till you get the right exposure. Now with the second dial focus the subject. The peaking feature will create kind of a weird border color, usually red on the area focused. Is basically to tell you which area is in focus. Note: Anything above 3200 ISO may introduce more noise so you may need more lighting. If at 100 ISO is still too bright, which might be the case with lots of sunlight, increase the shutter speed slowly till you get good exposure. If you can achieve a shutter speed of over 1/1000 or more, which is unlikely, it will just speed the shot, reducing the possibility of a blurred or soft image. If it's still too bright you might need a filter or change your position to get less sunlight. After you master this you will have lots of fun with it.

This is a very fun lens to shoot photos with. Images are nice and crisp. I use it on my fujifilm X-s20. If you are having a hard time with shooting manual look into focus peaking and turn it on, it really helps a lot with focusing.

The lens itself is really good but I just got the lens only nothing else that's showing in the image like the bag and wrench

Me quiero comprar 5.
