Japanese Bar Clamps HATAGANE - Gold

These are great little clamps. I use them for clamping small delicate parts and small boxes. Seriously great little brass clamps perfect for your projects. Very well made and I hope they last many years too come. You never have too many clamps. I will be buying more.. I wish there was a starter set with some better pricing.

Perfect size for my small glue-ups. Has enough clamping strength for small projects. Product is simple to use one the small projects where the larger clamps are clumsy.

Pay attention to the size in Millimeters much smaller than you think from the photos. However the dimensions were clearly defined in the add. That being said, the quality is impressive. Perfect for small crafts work. I added them to a tool chest for traditional wood working, as they were not plastic. My bad for not checking on a ruler what the real size is. Excellent though for small crafts.

This has been a good clamp - but only for small lightweight jobs. Being brass, nothing sticks, and being lightweight, they stay more out of the way than the larger and more common squeeze clamps. The tips are small, so not much "throat" - about 1" of depth max so sort of grabs edges of project and clamps. But for that, they do a good job. Once the slider is tightened, you have only a few turns before you max out, so lightweight clamping -> good; heavy duty -> not good. For my small box clamping these are flexible and great, so I'll buy more.

I appreciate the KAKURI Bar Clamps. They are well made and actually quite beautiful to look at and suit my new purpose. However, I used them to support a shade for my plants. See pictures.

Solid brass great for kumiko

Work very well for small projects especially with soft wood.
