Wood burner tool for Christmas. This book was a perfect match for ideas and how too use the different tips. Easy to understand and excellent directions.

good book for beginners. lots of good info.

I bought this along with a mid level wood burning kit for my wife and I. The book has a decent amount of information on the use of different type tips for different applications. While it does not explain every use for every possible tip you might get in a kit it does cover the common ones and that is what you need. Has a good section on practicing different effects from lines to shading to stippling and them moves on into practice projects. Nice that it includes the designs so she can just print them out and trace them and compare her outcome to those in the book. Overall it was worth the price and I cannot say that about half of the books I have purchased...they either are too simple or they are too advanced and the beginner is lost. But this is a nice book to help get started.

This book is well done and easy to understand. Many nice pictures. Am learning to woodburn on gourds and this helping a lot. Am just a beginner so every idea is great for me. Breaks down the machine and tips and provides step-by-step projects. A lot of simple patterns to use. Nice to keep around and refer to as you burn!

This is an awesome beginners guide to woodburning. My husband taught me how to use a woodburner and ever since making my first sign I love it!! Its amazing the things it can do and the beauty it can make. So excited to learn even more from this book and create some more artwork!! Thx to the creator of this awesome book 📖 💙

Very good book

This book does have some cool patterns and tips; but it is not for the first time beginner. I'm keeping it, in hopes that I will have use for it later; but for a real beginner, get Pyrography workbook. A complete guide to the art of wood burning by Sue Walters. This book is better suited and more informative for the true beginner.

The instructions are easy to follow. The author provides some good ideas and guidelines. Highly recommend.
