NOT CHEAP, but still BEST for massive storage, speed & longevity it has -- MY OPINION.
512GigaBytes & 1-TeraByte SSD -- I've used and tested several brands, and my personal opinion is that this SAMSUNG, although more expensive, is best for massive storage.....again, in MY opinion. Good luck to you. Like all memory products, it starts out expensive (~$50+), and just keeps getting cheaper.....and that's great for all of us. But I also like the many bytes I can record or transfer very quickly. That pertains to all manner of stuff, including 4K+ video. That's what I use it for, and so far I've acquired more than a dozen of these 512 Gb & 10-1Tb , micro SSD chips and I can't blame a single one for causing a major error, although I did have one 1-Tb destroyed by a crashing hard drive--this was verified by the FORTECT internet company. I keep looking for errors, but there's been nothing that I can blame the device for. Knock on wood....and the fact they keep getting cheaper is pretty good too. When you duplicate as many bytes as I have, back and forth sometimes (I don't like fragmented files), and the byte count is still always exact -- for half a Terabyte it's good, not to mention a full Terabyte, extremely good. I'm old school....but ain't digital great? I remember trying to do this 50 years ago (YES!) with analog.....and I was consequently very sad.....quite a lot. NOTE: All's good, but to be specific up to now, and I do like the PRO version with the connected small USB connector. That's great. And, I also re-format in NTFS...all I want is the memory for remote portable drive use. That's ME. That's all I want to say, for now. --> now for an edit, I have finally noticed how HOT these little 1-Tb guys really are......can't keep your finger on them when they're working and recording so fast. However, they evidently are still in tolerance. No failures. I'm not saying this is a condemnation, because it seems to be well within tolerance for this 1-Tb memory. However, if it's ONE thing that I've learned after 38-1/2 year's experience in electronics, it's that HEAT ultimately kills most failed electrical devices, big & small. I do think they've reached their limit in memory size for this 1-Tb, because the bigger memoryh would just get too hot. I started with audio repair and ended with programming Excalibur and other fuze stuff for ARL. HEAT kills, sure, but I still will admit that it may not be so conclusive, after all. I've gotten many of these micro devices that fit on the tip of your finger and so far, they've worked extremely well, even ALMOST perfect, I must admit....NO MORE than a few bytes altered during transfer, with absolutely NO failure noted (I'm told by a computer repair owner that these memory micro SSDs will work flawlessly for a time, and ultimately will just give out all of a sudden--ANSWER, use BACKUP! )..I backup all my 'valued' videos, etc...but, I'm still thinking of clip-leading a little fan to come on every time I apply power to a circuit, or, maybe even getting a tiny little heat sink. I don't know. But I'm sure going to continue testing these things out......just be aware that 'heat kills', period. (however, I have to concede one thing....I haven't seen a failure yet with these micro devices, hot or not) MORE....Oct 24, 2024.....yes, here's more, and not a single failure with many hours of transferring, reading & writing ---with over a dozen of these big memories (1/2 & ONE-Terabytes) being used a great deal, I cannot recall a single failure that was the chip's doing. Hot, yes, but NO failures. And, at most, while transferring a Terabyte of data, fragmented or otherwise, the most difference in the whole lot was no more a few bytes....and I kinda laughed that off. No problem, probably due to late spot-editing. Also, last year I mentioned the 'defragging' of the memory during a 1Tb-to-1Tb session. I had a terribly fragmented chip that I transferred (yesterday), and it took about 3 1/2 hours, give or take, and AGAIN showed about 25 Gigabytes MORE memory available after the transfer for the new chip, with identical memory capacities on both, checked by PROPERTIEs function. This is about what I reported before, so with the accuracy & acceptable speed (for me) the de-fragging effect made the COPY faster by reading/writing faster afterwards, along with greater accuracy, it NOW being sequencial..... if you can believe that. Thank progress for digital technology, because I remember the analog days so very well. Same data, but much, much different results. FINAL edit....Dec 19, 2025.....This is so long now, I might as well add something I left out......the reason digital is mostly 'more accurate' than analog is primarily due to something called 'handshaking', whereby at the eol (end-of-line) the byte-count is compared before advancing and denoting an ERROR if it is not identical. Other than that, it's just SPEED, which just keeps going up and up in digital land……the Japanese have affirmed, with COST no issue for conductors, that the INTERNET could transfer in the neighborhood of ~1000 movies per second, if they are correct, and I really believe they really are. Have you ever wondered WHY streaming seems to work so well? 12/28/25: STILL GOOD. NO FAILUREs. NOTE: early 09/25 I must say--I recently GOT a FAILURE......HOWEVER, I could not blame the Samsung for SURE because later that day my hard drive crashed, and it crashed 8 more times next few weeks, and was kept in software perfect operation only by FORTECT internet scan/repair service.....I asked their opinion as to the cause of the SSD failure and their professional opinion was most likely due to the failing hard drive and a 'driver' connection with the memory. I kept the internet and machine memory running during these crashes only due to their online program software-restoration EACH time. My Conclusion: these 1-Tb SSDs are still very reliable. Not cheap, but VERY good. mjm

Good quality card
This card has held up very well. I've been using it in my Samsung Tablet for awhile, and it does have the correct capacity. There were no compatibility issues, and I didn't have any problem formatting it, either. I do not notice any difference in performance when using the apps installed internally or those installed on the card. Granted I'm not doing anything that requires high performance, but it IS a Samsung. They make good products. :)

Excellent Performance and Reliability for Nintendo Switch
I’ve been using the Samsung EVO Select 256GB microSD card with my Nintendo Switch, and it works perfectly. The storage capacity is more than enough to hold all my games, updates, and media, and the speed is impressive. Apps and games load quickly, and 4K video records and plays smoothly without hiccups. The card feels well-made and durable. I’ve used it extensively over time and have not experienced any errors or failures. Transfers are fast and reliable, and I appreciate the included adapter for extra versatility. The card has handled frequent use and large file transfers without issues, showing excellent reliability. Overall, the Samsung EVO Select is great quality, offers excellent value for the price, and provides plenty of storage with top-tier speed. It’s a solid choice for anyone needing high-capacity memory for gaming or media storage.

Great Product Overall
So far, I love these cameras. I bought 2 cameras and 2 memory cards (Samsung Evo 256GB micro SD). One camera worked perfectly! The second one had some issues with the power cord port. I tried to make it work but after about a week the camera just wasn't staying on. I reached out to customer service and they were very kind, prompt and informative. I was able to easily request a replacement and had a new camera within a few days. It was also easy to return the original camera to Staples with a QR code sent through my email. The quality of video is great for the cost. It turns on every time you start your car. Rear camera is perfect and quality is great as well. Plenty of cord and installation was easy and smooth. I have issues with the app only because I'm still not sure why it's necessary but I haven't had much time to experiment and play with it. Now, I did mess up and accidentally sent the memory card I purchased back with the original camera. I have emailed them to see if it's possible they can send it back to me to save spending an extra $25 in order to use their product but we will see. I am hopeful and honestly, if they do I have no issue with writing a 5 Star review for this product!

Great SD cards - Recommend them and Worth it for my Steam Deck
Purchased two different times! [1] 256gb (x2) Got one for my phone and my mothers. Works like a charm! [2] Ended up buying a 1TB version Needed more storage for my Steam Deck. Bought a 1tb EVO for $90. Originally when I inserted it before formatting, it stated it had 955gb and when I formatted it, it went to 938.9gb (Same as my steam decks original storage) All in all, I am glad I bought this, I needed storage asap as my steam deck was almost out of storage Edit: Just saw the price drop to $70... Wish I waited

Arlo VMB5000 Base Unit
I purchased a set of 4 Arlo Pro Spotlight cameras that included a “trial subscription.” When the trial period ended, my 4 cameras would trigger, and I was sent a notification, but I was unable to view any of the recordings. I chatted with an Arlo tech support person, and I was told that there is what amounts to a “work around.” I was advised that by purchasing an Arlo base unit, I’d be able to continue to use my cameras similar to the way that they functioned during the trial period. I purchased the VMB5000, synched my four cameras to it- but the cameras did not work. I chatted with a second Arlo tech support person who advised me that I needed a class 10 SD card. I purchased this MICRO card through Amazon, and when it arrived I searched and eventually found the well hidden micro SD card slot. It’s at the bottom of the base unit. The Record locally toggle switch recognized the SD card; and after following the prompts- I successfully formatted the SD card. I activated both the “record locally” toggle switch, as well as, the “direct storage access” toggle. At this point- I was able, while in Wi-Fi mode on my iPhone, to view captured triggered videos from each camera similar to when the trial subscription was active. However, when I was out of Wi-Fi range, once again, I could no longer view any triggered camera videos. Upon further reading, Arlo states that viewing triggered camera videos, remotely, that is, out of Wi-Fi range can be accomplished with by using a VPN, or by using Port Forwarding. I watched a YouTube video, loaded my ISP’s (Spectrum) App onto by iPhone, and with a few inputs*-I’m happy to say that it works. I can, now, view triggered camera videos either locally, or remotely with my iPhone via the cell phone network. *Arlo app >Devices >Smart Hub/Base Station/Bridge >tap on the base station >Local Storage(storage settings) >activate: Record Locally Direct Storage Access >tap on: Port Forwarding >activate: Enable Port Forwarding Write down the internal and external port numbers- you will Input these on your ISP’s router. I was fortunate I found a YouTube video with instructions for setting up my ISP, Spectrum, router. Good Luck! (FYI: The VPN setup is believed to be more secure than the port forwarding setup- I may explore the VPN option, there are free VPN apps, and there are subscription VPN apps, as well, but my whole thing was to eliminate yet another monthly subscription.

perfect and on sale always good brand Samsung components rock. and are seen as top notch quality.
love the sale 128gb attract me much because of the capacity normally these days id say 128bor 64 is given to have but I want all my devices as far along as far as storage goes which means I love the speed as well and it matches my computers SSD as well so currently on top of that I own a Samsung A10 tablet and it's gotta have solid parts so I can watch my favorite things and I find these devices and drives this name and at 11 or 12 plus tax for something that a decade ago was 80 bucks 128 used to be top tier now I see it as depending on the class it's a normal attachment. I YouTube and send shorts and the receiving rate from my laptop to this 128 is insane a gb in a couple of minutes or less usually less in just saying and now with this tablet I want everything to match. Samsung is a leading brand for a reason. and I use them from this to ram to ssd drive SATA drives the tablet a phone k no longer can compare to Samsung ots always between them and sle lm the phones and Android's Samsung Galaxy s so do yourself a good brand SD card at a reduced price. for your devices and trust me you won't regret it. I'm going for all 128fb and eventually bigger to maximize my devices external drives for portable or formatted storage. I am phone wise currently not on a Samsung I sold mine sure if I could have the newer phones I would not that I dislike the Samsung and it's OS on Android I'm a Motorola and LG user rn. nmy components though are Samsung whenever it comes to storage or memory's like the ram modules. but I like Samsung brands they have a good product line and it's worth every penny. this def is worth the money. get it while you can. I'd rather have a Samsung component over most any other Eden enough time are not bad brands like Kingston I like all my stuff internally to match thua 128fgb was a item I'll buy again my phone goes to 512 but 128 will do for me.. thank you Amazon for the Good product at a great price. currently I run Samsung ram a couple of these and a Samsung Evo SSD and a tablet. but my phone is Motorola g. yes I would love a galaxy phone but I am. not able to do so thateansnall components are Samsung if possiblem can't go wrong.
