Surprised it was better than the "regular"....

The Family Reserved is not the hottest Tabasco sauce but it is the smoothest and best tasting!
The best! Made from the peppers grown on Avery iIsland. The soil is naturally salty and the peppers are aged in oak barrels first used by distilleries giving the sauce a smooth, woodsy smoked taste. This sauce was originally reserved for the family.

Tastes great
Great tasting hot sauce. The family reserve I find is much better than the standard Tabasco with a richer taste. It is not too spicy but adds a nice little kick and great flavor.

This was a good price and that’s why I ordered two bottles. Both bottles were either very old or left in the heat. Not edible. Don’t buy!

Ein toller Geschmack. Die Schärfe ist etwas höher als beim gewöhnlichen Tabasco, der Essiggeschmack dagegen erinnert eher an feinen Balsamico. Wirklich außerordentlich gut. Hat natürlich auch seinen Preis, aber der ist es wirklich wert.
