I bought these for 2 reasons. 1. I have a dobie puppy that does not like staying in the back seat. She is a shotgun rider and thinks she should help you drive. This has helped keep her in the back seat and she is no longer in my face, or lap while driving. 2. There have been a lot of accidents recently along a local highway where the dogs are not secured and they run off. These dogs are often hit on the highway or lost and rarely found. That legit scared me. Even though my boxer is the perfect back seat rider without this seat belt, I know that if anything was to happen, both girls will remain with the vehicle and someone can take them home safely. Very durable. Cheap. Long stretch. I have one one each side of my car so each dog does not tangle and they have room to lay down. Definitely worth the money!

I am editing this review to say this strap SAVED MY DOGS LIFE! I was driving slowly on our gravel driveway letting my dog look out the window. He fell out of the window. I I stopped immediately and ran to his side thinking the strap had broken and I had run over him. He was screaming and hanging by his collar and the strap. I was able to get him down in time and so thankful the strap did not break. If it had broken he would have been run over by the vehicle. It was a very traumatic experience that I never will forget or want to happen to anyone else. Makes car rides much safer! I know our puppy won’t fall in the floor if I have to stop quickly. It is a great training aid to teach him to stay in place. Comes with two straps. I use the strap and a dog booster seat with my small puppy and my daughter uses the other strap with her huge, strong lab. Works for both dogs. It may just be a puppy thing, but he constantly gets tangled in the strap. I plan to start using a harness instead of a collar so he won’t get so tangled. Keeps my dogs from jumping all over my vehicle. They are unable to get out of it. In the oast I had purchased safety seatbelt leash pet holder that buckled into where the seatbelt normally buckles and my Husky was to smart. She'd just step on the release and left herself free to go crazy in my car. This product has stopped that from happening.

These dog safety belts are a great and afforadable way to keep you pup safe while traveling in the car. I appreciate that it comes with 2 safety belts in case you need them for multiple vehicles and/or pets. I will say that the length of the safety belt (even at it's shortest level) is still a bit long. As you can see in the second photo my dog is still able to stand up to look out the window - which could be a good or a bad thing depending on your preference. But for me I wish the safety belt was able to be adjusted to be even shorter in length because the way it is now I had to push the car seat back as much as possible to accomodate for the length. But overall great car safety solution! But I think long term I would explore other options.

This works perfectly for our 28 pound dog. She can stick her head out the window but not jump out. She also has the ability to move around on the seat but not get in the driver's lap. It fits on the headrest fast and easy as well as just clips to her collar. The elastic gives her a little extra room but not too much. When we have a real person sit in that place, we just toss the leash around the headrest so it is out of the way but we don't have to take it all the way off. Great item.

These seat belts work exactly like they should. They clip right into the buckle and attach to my dog’s harness securely. She still has room to move around but can’t jump all over the car. The straps feel sturdy, adjust easily, and I like that it comes as a 2-pack so I can keep one in each vehicle. Simple, affordable, and makes traveling with pets so much safer.

My 8-pound and 9-pound doggies do very well with these. I can put them on inside and use as leash to get them to the car. Or I can leave them secured to the headrest. This way both of my pups can sit in the back bench seat and not get tangled.

I was happy with these controls to help contain my dogs in the back seat. Going down the road realized that one of the clips had broken. Attempted 2 times to contact the seller but no response. I would have been happy with a replacement.

Totally unsafe, the stitching wasn't even holding parts of these straps together properly and the buckles/metal connectors were really flimsy. There was absolutely no way I was going to trust this with my small breed dog, it would simply snap. Unfit for purpose. Returned immediately.

Does what it is supposed to. Great price for 2 pcs. Solid product. Nuff said.
