I bought this for my daughter to bling her prom shoes, and it worked perfectly! The adhesive holds rhinestones and gems securely without any mess. It’s easy to use, dries clear, and kept all the gems in place even through a night of dancing. Months later, everything is still holding strong! This is the only glue I will use for putting rhinestones on my Dancewear outfits. It doesn't leave globs everywhere like that e1000 stuff or whatever does. And a bottle will last you forever. It smells mostly like any glue does and has never bothered me. It dries crystal clear. Besides using hotfix this is the only option for going on rhinestones that actually delivers a presentable result.

Gem-tac is by far my favorite glue for rhinestoning costumes. I find the application easy with no mess or smells. The clue applicator lets me control how much comes out. The glue is not stringy or create residues like some other products I've tried in the past. Glue dries clear but most importantly my stones do not fall off the costumes! This glue is my tried and true for dance costumes and skating dresses.

I got both this and E6000 for a rhinestone project that I had never done before. I had heard good things about both and was drawn to this because many people more experienced than me said it was better for beginners since it doesn't dry as fast as E6000 therefore being better if you make a placement mistake. I found this to be true. It also doesn't clog the spout as easily and for the most part dries clear. If you have too much of a halo around your rhinestone, it does look like a water bead on your fabric, so I suggest wiping away as much excess as you can. Definitely a good value. I ordered 2 bottles thinking my large project would tear through one....I never opened the second and maybe used about a third of the one I did open.

Very good glue

I went to the Shoemaker to fix a belt for me and it wasn't something he wanted to do. He told me to buy this glue to paste together the leather and a thick elastic band. This glue really works

I bought this back in October 2023, but did not need to use it until today. When I screwed the white cap off to remove the seal the top foil layer had separated from the bottom plastic layer. The foil layer was stucked in the upper part of the white cap. Some of the glue had leaked on top of the plastic layer of the seal and had dried up. After removing the outer red cap I could see that the tip of the white cap had been cut off. Always make sure to check your items to make sure you have not been sent an used item, and that it is in good condition so, if need be, you can return it before the return window closes.

If you decorate leotards with diamantés ,I highly recommend you purchase this glue. I’ve been using it for over 10 years and it’s never let me down. You can hand wash the Lycra in Luke warm water and the diamantés stay intact. Other glues I’ve used are just not reliable. I recommend 💯

I go to this glue over and over, for it does the job perfectly: easy to work with and dries on completely clear.

I use this to decorate dance costumes and the crystals stay on perfectly. This glue still allows for movement, it doesn't dry too rigid. Be careful to only apply to areas where you are applying items as can leave marks. Will pass through finer fabrics, so would recommend putting plastic behind the fabric until dried.
