I previously owned this product for over a year and it worked well. However when there are big ios updates, the cable stops working. Over a year ago I’d raised this with the company and they kindly replaced my item with a new device that worked with the updated IOS system. When I updated to IOS 17 and the cable stopped working again, I tried to contact the company but had limited response and was advised I would be issued a refund, which was never received. Based on my previous experience, I understood that I likely needed a new cable to work with the new IOS system so I ordered a new cable as when it works, it’s brilliant! However, the new cable does not work at all. Straight out of the box, it is not compatible with IOS 17 and a waste of money! I’ve tried to contact the company but had no response. Very disappointed.

First cable arrived and tv displayed briefly the converter needed firmware update then nothing. Contacted idoove through Amazon messaging assistant for help and they apologised and shipped the updated converter immediately arrived next day. Worked straight away on both iPhone8 and iPads and both TVs. Excellent picture quality. Very good engineered product and value for money. Would buy another one if needed.

Using on iPhone 14 Plus It does the job, however the quality does not seem clear, supposedly at 1080p 60 fps but the video feed isn’t as good as it should be , I use for gaming to obs but if you use for other apps in portrait mode then it might not be so bad. One other deal breaker , never had this issue before but occasionally the cable will say it needs a firmware update! I mean wt? Very frustrating when about to set up a live event and run into this problem . I thought for the price it was expensive , but expected much better quality it I’m just not satisfied with it. So may have to spend more money and hope for better quality and no firmware updates . I wouldn’t recommend this one sorry.

Ist schon mein Zweites. Wie bei ersten Mal funktioniert es nach einem IOS- Update nicht mehr…. Aber der Verkauf hat es zurückgenommen.

El cable tiene buena pinta, se nota bien construido y con materiales resistentes. El conector encaja firme y el cable es grueso, sin sensación de fragilidad. Me gustó que incluya las dos opciones, Lightning y USB-C, porque así sirve para varios dispositivos sin tener que andar con adaptadores. En mi caso, no logré que funcionara con un Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. En teoría debería ser compatible, pero no conseguí que transmitiera la imagen. Es posible que sea algo de configuración o de compatibilidad específica del móvil, porque el cable parece estar bien hecho y todo indica que funciona correctamente con iPhone o iPad. Aun así, se ve de calidad y con buenos acabados. Creo que para quien lo use con dispositivos Apple le irá sin problemas, pero conviene revisar bien la compatibilidad antes de comprarlo.
