Love it
Looks fantastic but again it wasn't bought to be used which frankly is a good job because I've had nothing but Trouble with the Elite 2 series of controllers

Will break.....
Useless, as with all Elite Controllers soon breaks once out of warranty and becomes a fancy unusable display piece

Not great
Started to fall apart after a year or so. Not great quality considering the price.

DOESN’T FEEL AS GREAT AS SERIES 1
Just to say, I have a huge objection to those people scalping products for Xbox and selling immediately for profit on websites. It seems lately people want to make money out of nothing and simply resell driving prices up.I have been playing Xbox for a while and I do not simply collect stuff and resell. I use it until it breaks and newer stuff comes out. So this review comes from someone who truly uses equipment for playing.Nice looking controller, but feels now cheaper than previous versions and does not feel like £180 but like £100.The Elite controllers are designed to be more dureable and more customizable with paddles underneath that are connected to buttons meaning that you do not have to remove your fingers from a button and do things a bit faster. The buttons and the sticks, rings around the thumbsticks and D-Pad are metal and do not wear down like the regular controller do. That groove you get from continuous rotation of the thumbstick in some games clockwise or anti clockwise is not there on elites. It makes sense to pay a lot once than pay a little bit less twice.SERIES 2Series 2 are different since they DO have a textured grip and not as long rubber pieces on the grip but largely feel like the same shape and the differences are not ergonomic but more like a facelift you would have on cars. The RB seems more plastic and a less satisfying click comes from pressing them and the range of click is shorter. The worst thing that throws you off is that the Power on X button in the top centre does not actually sink down as much as it used to and is now a button button. I always press it too hard when accepting a party invite or going to home screen. The Series 2 has a share button on the front which is handier than pressing the home button and then the appropriate shortcut (Y for picture and X for video)This one is about 200g lighter than the Series 1 with batteries included which is a favourite part of it for me. I have been through 4 Gears of Wars limited controllers. The rubbers warp and bubble after a while from hand heat. Hopefully the issue is not the same here. I shall update this in time to come and if this does happen then it will make the controller drop from a 4 star to 3 stars. If anyone drives Mercedes Benz AMG vehicles and used to drive a 6.3 engine and now drives a 4.0 engine biturbo, then you will know what I mean about the difference between an older model and newer one that although newer does not have the same feel and feels cheaper although functionality is the same. The artwork here is quite cool although it does not have the same attention to detail and craft of the Gears of War Limited Editions. These had scratches, other parts and details to it. It felt much better. This Elite controller now feels like it is a regular controller with better artwork and parts replaced but no major differences like there were before. This time you don't use batteries and simply the internal batteries via USB charge.
