Black Tea, English Breakfast Loose Leaf, 500 Gram Box

All the Ahmad loose leaf black teas that I've tried have been strong with varying degrees of flavor. The English Breakfast tea has a very mild taste and aroma, and although prefer it as a morning drink over their various Assam and Ceylon blends, it's not my favorite among their offerings. For much better flavor, I recommend their English No1 and Special Blend teas.

Great value for a quality tea. It is fairly mellow, but has some nice flavors. It is remarkable how little bitterness develops from longer steeps.

I fill my empty tea bags that I buy from Amazon. I use one tea bag per teapot; that I heat up in the microwave. To my taste it's strong but not bitter; I drink mine with sugar and half and half. One tea bag(teaspoon per pot if tea. I drink it all day and only have to brew it once. I like English Breakfast tea the best and I get a better quality tea from Ahmad. I staple the tops of tea bag; too much trouble to tighten the drawstring!

I’m no tea aficionado, but I definitely prefer getting loose leaf tea in bulk for the right combination of affordability and quality, and Ahmad always hits the mark. This is a solid black tea - can tolerate longer brew times (~8 minutes) for a strong drink, lightly aromatic, and flavorful. I rated it 4/5 only because it would need to exceed my expectations in flavor to reach a 5/5. For an everyday tea you can’t go wrong with this!

Have used Ahmad loose leaf black tea. Just tried the English breakfast. I may like it better. Ahmad produces a good quality loose leaf tea. This tea, like the black tea, has almost no sticks or filler. After 3-5 min of brewing one has a delicious, dark mild black tea.

Ahmad tea is quality tea. I have had several of their offerings and have never been disappointed. The English Breakfast is one of the best, if not the best, English blends I've had. Quality leaf blended expertly. Malty, clean, hint of chocolate. Brews to a clear liquor. Excellent.

Very good tea

Happy to find this loose tea in the 500 gr size. The loose tea tastes so much better than the tea bag version. Very pleased with the product and service.

I had never heard of them (probably because I'm not British), but it was quite good. Its half a kg so it will take a while before i need some more, but I'm certainly planning on buying some more.

I love the Ahmad English Breakfast tea. I'm fussy about tea, but I find this one smooth with a nice balance and subtle flavor. It makes for a good classic cup of black tea. I drink 3-4 cups most days. I've tried the Ahmad Cardamon tea and the Ceylon (slight bergamot flavor) too -- they're good quality for people looking for those flavors. If you want to make an Indian Chai using your own spices, the English Breakfast and Cardamon are both good bases for that. I'm very happy with Ahmad tea products. I've been buying them for a couple of years now. If you read this review under a different product, that's not my fault as this platform seems to copy and reuse reviews elsewhere. It's why I mention the name of the product in reviews.

Hi I tried this brand today and find it very nice, strong, full of flavour, full bodied and having a gorgeous aroma, just like I remember proper Tea Leaves do. Some times I do like to put the Infuser in the cup, as in the pictures, rather than in the pot to give the Tea leaves more room to breathe, or just use a Tea strainer. Loving Tea as I do, I will be trying other brands. Must have another cuppa! All the best Dusty
