These lights look so great under the cabinets in our kitchen, shining on my new Calcutta Gold Quartz countertops which are white with light gray veining and hints of gold here and there in the veins. It's meant to resemble Calcutta marble. That in the Subway tile backsplash are clean crisp white. We're very glad to have under counter lights because, unfortunately the lighting in our kitchen is inadequate, casting shadows when you are working out the counters. Plus lighting up the beautiful countertops and backsplash really makes the kitchen pop. The only problem I found after having these is the electrical plug eventually fails. The lights are fine, but the plug stops working. I have replaced three of these plugs already with a black adaptable plug I found on Amazon. I would prefer to have a white plug since it's running from the plug up to my cabinets across that white subway tile. But at least the new plug works well. The light strips are nice for a variety of reasons. They come in sections which make it easier to put them where you want them to go by using corner pieces included. They also come with adhesive on the back so you can pull adhesive strip covering one at a time to mount. No worrying about getting tangled up and sticking to something you don't want it to stick to. Because the sections attach in several places, if you're running them across an area that might get splashed with water, the connections can start to patina and corrode. I did have to swap out a couple sections for some that ran under the window ledge by my sink. Other than that, they've really stood up. If a section does go bad you can simply remove that one section and replace it with anything extra you have or you can purchase extra lengths from the same company. You don't have to remove the entire run. The remote control works well and has a lot of different features on it. I really should use the timer feature more, maybe I will get more life out of the plug. I have a tendency to leave them on at night, hate a dark house. Considering they get used day and night day after day the durability is impressive. The fit on the cabinets is great, Because of the added connections you can move things around as you like, and they are flexible enough to fold slightly over to make a corner. I have tried other ones I wasn't overly impressed with. This one by far is my favorite, and easy to use. Make sure you choose the appropriate shade for your needs. They have a selection between warmer lights and whiter lights. I generally like a warmer light, but using it to shine on white countertops and white backsplash did not look right. I replaced some warmer light strips of a different brand that it wasn't as happy with and replace them with a crisper white light color. I can't remember if it was called daylight.. as I write this review I can't recall the names of the options but there were several when I ordered these. On a side note I have 5 sections and remotes in my kitchen for these because the cabinets are separated by windows, a stove and a built in space for fridge and upper shelves where you can't easily work the light strips around. If you have clear runs you could probably just buy the extra reel of lights and keep on adding. That's the nice part about these.

This is my third order and now my neighbors are using these light strips. My first has been in for two years, used everyday and works great. I did just recently replace the battery in the remote. These are easy to install and look great in cabinets or around built in shelving.

This gives such wonderful ambient lighting, absolutely love the remote option as well as the dimmer settings. Amazing kitchen upgrade for low price!

Got these today to go under kitchen cabinets, and illuminate a dark prep area. Kit is seemingly very complete, and provides lots of flexibility for installations. Read the instructions (which are not bad) twice, familiarized myself with the parts and installation process, and then put them up. Installation took less than 30 minutes. Anyone can do it. Brighter than I expected, which is a good thing. Easily dimmable. Lots of options on the remote. This seems to be a good product, and it certainly solved my lighting problem fairly easily. We'll see how things go over time.

Product is ok. At first the remote component stop working and had to remove it so no more dimming. Then the power adapter stopped working. Update. Company reached out to me and help me resolve this issue. Great customer service.

I have a bad habit when shopping on Amazon.com. I look at ratings/reviews, but if > 85% of the reviews fall in the 4-5 star range, I usually feel comfortable moving ahead with my purchase. I don’t usually read the 1-2 star comments, but after my experience with this lighting product, I’m changing my shopping habit to always see what those reviews have to say, because I’m about to write a 1-star review of my own, and it’s right in line with the others. We live in a typically small Manhattan apartment. Our kitchen was brand new when we moved in, but it’s fairly compact, with poor task lighting. I tried a few LED bars but they were unsightly and didn’t cover the full workspace, so I was thrilled to find this product, especially for the price. Around 87% of the reviews were 4-5 stars, but 10% were in the 1-2 star range. Installation was difficult but the effect was incredible. It completely changed the look of our kitchen, giving it a much higher-end feel with the warm white light washing our matte charcoal backsplash. More importantly, it made the kitchen more usable. I loved the one-touch dimming options: bright, intense light for food preparation and dimmed low for evenings after our dinner. We ended up getting about 1.5 years of performance from these lights before they started going bad in the past week. The random flickering, the suddenly-unresponsive dimmer switch and inability to power them off has left us with a great disappointment. If you had told me in August 2023 that for $23, I could have great lighting in my kitchen for 1.5 years, I’d have accepted that, but we’re still discouraged. Now I have to go shop for a new lighting option, uninstall and discard this broken system, and reinstall a new one. My installation was solid. Every wire was stationary and discretely mounted with small adhesive wire hooks. Nothing was dangling. There was no stress put on the physical product, so whatever happened came from poor manufacturing. My new budget will be higher and yes, I’ll be reading the lowest reviews to be better-informed.

Used these as under the counter kitchen lights plugged into a wall socket that is controlled by a light switch, easy to install, had to cut one strip as it was too long for my design, then had to solder on a new connector which a few come in the package, if you know how to solder then it easy enough. Just make sure you take the time to plan the layout of where it will plug into a socket, where you need filler strips and if any strips need to be cut. Only thing is it will not work well with a regular dimmer switch, you need to purchase ELV dimmer or you'll get humming noises and inconsistent lighting. ELV's are expensive so for now I'm not using the dimmer switch just the remote.

Great lights, works like a charm, enough features to link the individual strips, easy installation, remote control works great and the brightness can be set from everywhere between quite bright (but still warm) to 'night light' which is not super bright. I'm glad I bought this product.

The light effect is beautiful, I love the remote and dim option.The light strips already have adhesion which was effective. The 12inch sections were easy to install, provided you didn't pull too hard to get them in place. (When working around my sink, I had to add a bit of tape to the joining sections, to keep them from pulling apart.) I used the extra adhesion tape to hold up the wire from the plug, they were not strong enough to hold. The adhesion for the remote sensor also did not stay up, I ended up using duct tape. Happy with the purchase!

Light strips were somewhat easy to install. I say some white, because I am not that flexible and to get between the counter and the cabinets is a little tricky. Aside from that, excellent light strips. Now a few notes on installation, obviously planned it out and clean where you plan on sticking the strips. I used rubbing alcohol to remove any wax or oil underneath the cabinets. They are super bright with options for different light levels and a timer function. Now I’ve only had it running for a few days and if anything changes I will update. Cheers.
