Rush Hour (BD)“Ain’t never gonna have no partner,” LAPD Det. James Carter insists. He gets a partner. And since that partner is played by dynamic martial arts legend Jackie Chan and motor-mouthed Carter is played by wisecracking Chris Tucker, Rush Hour zooms along with gleeful chemistry under the dynamic directorial hand of Brett Ratner. The case: rescue the kidnapped daughter of a visiting Hong Kong official. The result: amazing stunts (Chan does his own) and verbal wit (well, Tucker does his own, too!) that delivered a kick to the buddy-cop genre – and gave Chan his long-awaited, mainstream-U.S. breakthrough.]]> Review: Rush hour dvd movie. - The product is very excellent and awesome. Review: Rush Hour: An Action-Comedy Classic That Still Delivers - Ah, Rush Hour! A movie that truly lives up to its name, delivering a high-octane, action-packed ride that will leave you breathless and wanting more. First released in 1998, this American action-comedy film directed by Brett Ratner is a true classic in every sense of the word. The movie features an incredible cast of characters, including Jackie Chan as Inspector Lee and Chris Tucker as Detective Carter. The two police officers come from very different backgrounds and cultures, but when a kidnapping case brings them together, they must set aside their differences and work together to solve the crime. One of the things that makes Rush Hour such a memorable movie is the chemistry between Chan and Tucker. They play off each other perfectly, with Tucker's quick wit and Chan's martial arts skills adding a level of humor and excitement that is hard to replicate. Whether they're trading one-liners, chasing down bad guys, or engaging in epic fight scenes, their partnership is truly a joy to watch. Speaking of fight scenes, Rush Hour has some of the most incredible action sequences in movie history. From the opening scene in Hong Kong to the final showdown in Los Angeles, the movie is packed with adrenaline-fueled battles that will leave you on the edge of your seat. The fight choreography is simply stunning, and Jackie Chan's martial arts skills are on full display throughout the movie. But Rush Hour isn't just about action and comedy. At its core, it's a story about two men from different worlds coming together to solve a crime and build a friendship. It's a heartwarming tale of brotherhood and loyalty, and it's one that will stick with you long after the credits roll. And let's not forget about the movie's soundtrack. With a mix of hip-hop, R&B, and soul, the music perfectly complements the fast-paced action and adds an extra layer of excitement to the movie. In summary, Rush Hour is a true classic that has stood the test of time. It's a movie that has something for everyone: action, comedy, drama, and heart. If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and give it a watch. You won't be disappointed!

Love this movie, however everytime I try to press play after purchase I kept receiving an error message stating "Sorry, there is a problem" I restarted my device and it worked fine there after. Easy purchase, very simple. Thank you!

TL;DR What is it good for?
TL;DR (Too, Long; Didn't Read) Version The 90s was an era of cliches, stereotypes, sexism, and cheesy action films. Rush Hour is a combination of all these qualities and more. Who doesn't remember "War, huh, good god, What is it good for? Absolutely nothing!". The good - Chris Tucker's comedic timing is perfect and his unfiltered jokes match each scene perfectly. - Jackie Chan's stunts are top notch in this film. - The action scenes are intense and fun. The bad - The plot is unrealistic. - All those people shooting at Tucker and Chan and no one got shot? - The Law of Physics does not apply in this film. Final Verdict: A cult classic and a film that makes you feel good at the end. Like our review? Hit the "helpful" button below or follow us on Amazon. Leave us a comment if you have any questions. FUN FACT: Jackie Chan was shocked at the precautions the crew had to take in order to ensure his safety. There is a scene where Chan jumps from a tree into a window of the Chinese Embassy. While stunt coordinator Terry Leonard admitted that Chan could have easily made the jump on his own, the crew had to build scaffolding on either side of the window in the event that the stunt went wrong. When Chan saw the scaffolding for the first time, he shook his head and said, You Americans...so safe.

I first saw this film on VHS video at the end of the 1990s, when it was originally released. I have loved it ever since. I consider it to be one of Jackie Chan's best films and there are some great comedy moments, action scenes and stunts in the film. I also thought that he and Chris Tucker made a superb double act in the film too. I still can't believe that the film is now over 20 years old, though. I give it the maximum five stars because, although it's now an older film, it is still extremely entertaining. If you haven't already seen this and you love buddy cop or comedy action films, then I would strongly recommend a purchase. The other two films in the series aren't bad, either.
