I was taking a chance because I couldn't find any information if there were special grooves for this that would prevent it from working with a 12x17. There aren't and it works perfectly with the 12x17 because there is no chance for it to fall out, also the switch for the light pad had a 1.5 inch gap to turn on and off. I really think the craft station this and the 12x17 light pad go together perfectly in my apartment! I also have an arm lamp with the metal arm clamp, I would recommend going to your local or close hardware store and buying a clamp there, the lamp wobbles and has no support to stay left or right.

They do the job. Wish they could be a little more centered, but this is due to the design of the table.

Love it!! Bought it for my son for first year Architecture Technologies studies. Works and looks great!

We didn't get the whole thing all we got was the support legs for the table.
