I’ve had Pepe for about 18 months now in a cage I thought was good for his size. He seemed to me happy but he was starting to lose more feathers then usual. I looked up and found that quakers need space. I found this cage. It was shorter, wider and longer than the cage he has. The price was easy on my budget. It also looked like I could put it on the stand on our LR where I’m perched most of the time. Pros: It was easy for me to put together. I’m 74 so I carefully followed the directions. It has two little dishes that are easy to change water and put food into. It has lots of top bar space for lots of fun parrot toys. It is in a location that I interact with him with his toys and that is making him a happy bird. He is actually quieter, not screaming but happy chatter. He isn’t losing feathers. He moves all over the cage. He isn’t sitting in one spot. He isn’t flying on it but he flaps his wings. Cons: There is no top that opens. (I’m going to buy him a gym he can climb on during the day. He was able to open the middle sliding door. I have cats so I had to use clamps to stop that. I’m very happy with this purchase. I’m very happy, Pepe is happy! Did I mention it is easy to change the bottom of the cage. Because he doesn’t perch on one spot there isn’t a build up of bird poop. I also have under pads left over before my husband passed away. I cut those in half and they fit perfectly in the tray. The absorb a lot of the moisture in the bird poop and it is a breeze to change his tray. That’s it! The pictures are worth a 1000 words!

It is a good standard bird cage, it's held up very well i waited a but before i reviewed it. I am pleased with it.

My birds are so happy in this cage! I had first bought a tall and thinner cage but I noticed my birds didn't really use the bottom half at all. It was also a great cage made by this company. The cage is sturdy, I can fill their decent sized bird bath and set it on top along with a food bowl with no issue. The cage parts all line uo fairly well, except for one upper corner I have that just won't sit right. But it still works fine! I like that there are 4 doors, one being almost a 3rd of the size of the front of the cage, as well as 3 smaller ones. The large door also folds down and almost offers a ramp up to the entry if it's on a table, and it's nice if they're out flying and decide to go back, it's almost like a little landing pad 😆. The plastic bins are super easy to clean, and assembly/disassembly is fast and easy. 10/10 would buy again. Once I set this one up, I noticed a pretty big change in their behaviors. They were active and chatty before, but with this cage they really came to life! They're almost dancing, and playing tag back and forth, they love running along the perches it came with, as well as hanging upside down on the ceiling of this cage, and climbing the sides. They also love using the top to play on.

I will be adopting a pair of budgies soon and I needed to set up their new home first. This cage arrived quickly, in excellent condition, and it is exactly what it looks like in the picture. Some of the panels are already assembled so there is very little to do yourself. I like the base on the cage because it prevents the birds from walking around in their droppings. I chose this one because of the horizontal width which will let the birds use their wings to move around and since I compared prices locally, I was very happy with the price!

It came super fast and neatly packed. Easy assembly. Will work fine for my breeding canaries. Cons: The wire is smaller gauge and not as sturdy as other cages of comparable size are. Other than that, it will work just fine for what I need it for.

The cage goes together fairly easy (I’m 80 yrs old) but I used a pair of needle nose pliers to tighten some areas! For the price, it is a pretty good cage, easy to clean pull out tray, lg front opening, and two perches , which I replaced with different size natural perches. It’s a pretty good value for the money.

This is the item I ordered but disappointed when I opened it coz two wooden perches are broken. Attached pictures taken.

This is an ideal cage! I have a few of these. Please don’t buy circular or narrow cages as birds need to be able to find flat areas to climb and need corners. Birds fly left to right so this is great.. please always leave the doors open permanently so they can fly whenever they want and from one cage to another is ideal. All wide cages are totally fine as long as you also leave the door open. Birds have wings and need to fly. So called flight cages are bigger which is great but won’t allow them to actually fly, just hop about, but the bigger the better. It’s easier if you just buy a couple of rectangular cages and just let them fly round the room. At first they might fly into the window or behind the couch but within a week they will have perfectly navigated the room and then will be so happy eating vegetables like baby leaves, corn on cob, carrot, broccoli on top of the flat cage. The dowel perches that come with most cages hurts their feet so please try buying screw in natural branches instead and put the perches outside as well as inside the cage. Maybe tie up a few genuine apple branches to their cage(s) so give them a natural place to fly to and chew on. Please just use branches from a fruit tree. Please please don’t keep one wee budgie (any bird) on its own. They need their own type to talk to and get really lonely otherwise. Sorry for rant. I love birds. Here’s my set up. Thanks x

I bought this cage for my female Canary. I was looking for a good size cage that was wider than tall. Delivery was fast. Assemble was quick and easy. Reminds me of putting together a metal dog crate. Not once did I need to look at the instruction manual. The only minor irritation I had, was I wished the grill bottom that sits over the pan was optional and could be removed easier if the owner prefers not to use it. I had to use pliers to unhook it. My Canary loves her new cage, and there is even room to get her a friend or two.

This is a great cage nice and wide for my canaries. I had the vision cage b4 this and it looked nice but the nooks and crannies attracted mites !! It was hard to keep them away this cage has no nooks and crannies it's lovely I bought the white one very pleased

A little flimsy when you try to pick it up. One end keeps coming undone from the top portions. Otherwise my bird has a wonderful time playing in his little home.

It did the job it’s a holding cage for a new project coming up and the birds are very settled which is nice.
