Easy to make delicious and healthy fresh bread for my family
Great results so far. Fairly compact and light so it's easy to tidy away when not in use. Straightforward to operate with reasonably clear instructions. Personally I would like the ability to tweak the timings of knead prove etc. but the existing programs make decent white bread. I don't like the way most of the bread recipes include sugar, milk powder, butter etc. Quite unnecessary really, makes the bread look good but overly cakey and lacking substance. I find this recipe works really well to make proper bread. Not as crusty but has proper bite and chewyness. 300ml room temp water 1tbs olive/sunflower oil 1tsp granulated salt (I used Lo-Salt) 420g Strong bread flour (Just cheap stuff from Lidl) 1 heaped tbs vital wheat gluten (might not need this if your flour is strong enough, got this from a Whole foods shop) 1.5tsp dried fast acting yeast (the packets from Lidl) Program 7 (Sweet breads) and 750g setting medium crust (this program gives the longest knead and prove time to develop the gluten properly) Lovely.

The Tefal Breadmaker makes great tasting Loaves
I am very pleased with the Tefal Breadmaker (Pain & Delices). I have baked 3 loaves, starting with the recommended Basic White Bread - Program 4. While the recipe for this loaf is not in the accompanying color recipe book, it is in the smaller booklet on page 6. The loaves have been very good with a strong crust and soft crumb. The paddle got stuck in to the first loaf. I then smeared the item that the paddle fits on with a little sunflower oil and had no problem with loaves 2 and 3. Depending on the flour that you are using, you may have to add 2 or 3 ml of extra water if you find the mix to be too dry. The Breadmaker is quite quiet when mixing the dough with very little vibration and the controls are easy to use. The bread has a nice taste and overall the Breadmaker is very good value. I am also pleased with Program 11 entitled ‘Leavened Dough’ I used the white bread recipe and the wholemeal one to make 2 batches of 8 soft rolls. The program lasts 69 minutes. Just fill the bread pan with the ingredients as if you were going to make a loaf. The bread maker mixes the dough for the first 9 minutes, then kneads the dough for the next 20 minutes then takes the dough to the first proofing stage for the remaining 40 minutes. Once finished, take out of the bread pan, flatten it to get the air out, shape it into 8 or 10 round roll shapes, cover with a towel and give it its second proofing for 60 minutes before baking in the main oven at 180°C for 17 or 18 minutes.

Great bread machine
I would give 4 and half star rating instructions are okay but definitely need to buy bread maker books for more ingredients to make like raisins bread only downside side porridge mode 1.3kg porridge is perfect no problem but 650kg porridge is just become clump and dry I would recommend add more milk or less porridge for 650kg porridge, size of bread especially 1000g only downside side is the 1000 gram or700g bread cooks over the pot and touches the lid, every time making new batch of bred smells amazing and the texture is very interesting depending on how you like the bread or porridge have to play around just found out that white rapid is quick bake for 1 hr use same recipe rapid white bread but as basic bread for 3hrs works wonders specially added seeds when machine beeps to add ingredients it’s very easy use but would recommend playing around until happy with the texture and size and order bread making for bread machine for extra ingredients or look up on the internet as well, money is okay bit expensive it is bread machine overall it’s great product

No more ultra-processed bread!
I bought this one after extensive research and haven't been disappointed. It does everything, bread, dough, yoghurt etc. This is why I went for it. So far have made yoghurt and used the cycle twice to get it fermented for 24 hours (SCD diet). Then dripped it for a few hours to make thick creamy greek style yoghurt. The bread has been excellent. have made 5 loaves now. I use a 50:50 spelt/bread flour ratio and use the 'Rye' program. They have all worked a treat and risen perfectly (just don't use too much yeast 1 &1/2 tsp seems the magic amount). The paddle has stuck in a couple of times, but easy to remove with the hook if your careful and it seems normal for bread makers. It is a bit noisy in the kneading phase, but I just close the kitchen door and then it doesn't wake me up when its set on timer. It so intuitive and easy to use, and the recipe book is good enough to get you started. But don't worry too much. You don't need milk or powdered milk which is pricey, and can go easy on the salt and sugar. A teaspoon of each is more than fine. A 750g loaf lasts me any my partner about 3 days which is all you want to keep the bread as it doesn't have preservatives. It's also good looking and is quite a compact machine. It fits on the counter easily as it's about the same size as a regular air fryer. It's a good, solid bread machine with a lot of versatility for stuff other than bread and competes with Panasonic and other top brands. Dare I say even excels them. I love it and it means I can stop eating ultra processed bread from the supermarket and I don't have to spend loads of time making my own, or spending a fortune at a posh bakery. Best purchase this year :)

The joy of home made bread
In my opinion this is a fantastic bread maker. The instructions are easy to follow and the machine is very easy to use. I have made notes of the practical advises and had a perfect gluten free sundried tomato loaf at first time :-)! The seedy loaf turned out to be just as yummy - used the wholemeal recipe, but swapped to seedy flour. I also like the look, the quietness and the compact size of the machine. I do agree with the comments about the not very useful design of the hook accessory. Tefal, please go back to the drawing board with that peace of equipment! Apart from this I am very happy with my purchase and sticking with the 5 star rating. Well worth the £85.00. P.S: I wish I could attach the wonderful smell of the freshly baked bread to the photos!

This bread machine was a total failure.
I carefully followed all directions using exact measurements. Three times. I tried to make a basic wholemeal loaf and each time was a disaster. The bread rose but had a terrible texture and taste. The crumb cooked on light was burnt and inedible. I had no option but to return it. I have previously used a Panasonic bread maker which had served me well and I thought this would be OK as I wanted a compact model. I have now bought a new Panasonic and found room to put it. We are now having beautiful bread. .
