First pkg packed well but AMZ delivery pkg badly crushed and mats badly damaged (unusable) corner. Called and replacement immediately at no charge. I'll buy from GS again.

I needed to mat a large number of 11x14 photos for a coming show and these Golden State Art pre-cut mats turned out to be excellent. They come with sleeves to keep them clean when potential clients shuffle through them. I took off one star because 1) one of the backings was slightly damaged, but still usable, and 2) the tight plastic wrapping around the mats and the backings was pulled perhaps a little too tight and in a few places there were very slight dents along one edge. Not a deal breaker. The box they came in (as opposed to the shipping box) is nice and secure and I can use it to carry my prints to the show, so that's a plus. One other inconsistency, and again, not a deal breaker, is that the backings are about 1/64 longer than the mats. Lining them up to split the different made this unnoticeable except by someone like myself who sees the world in increments of 1/72 of an inch from measuring type.

I can't count how many of these mats I have used over the years. Not a true black but decent quality at a good price.

I wanted to enter a local photo contest. So mounted my 11x14 my photos on a foam backing. Reread the contest instructions one more time before dropping off the photos. "All photos must be matted." Entry deadline in 5 days, what to do? Search Amazon and cross my fingers. Came across Golden State Art, Pack of 10 White Pre-Cut 16x20 Picture Mat for 11x14 Photos. Good pricing and would arrive on time. Looked at a few other vendors but decided on these. Score!! The product came in a box with great protection against damage during shipping, which was a huge plus. Love the quality and feel of the product. Easy to work with. Very happy and would easily purchase this product again

Excellent quality and none were damaged. Very good packing. Used them for some Audubon prints.
