Far superior to the newer and more-expensive "submersible" design.
I bought a George Foreman "Submersible" Grill 18-months ago and was very disappointed with it - the "durable non-stick surface" was noticeably dulled the first time it went through the dishwasher, and after the second wash I had to use non-stick spray to prevent food from adhering to it - on top of that the drip-pan was made of brittle plastic, soon broke, and wouldn't you know it - they're on backorder. So, I decided to go back to a more conventional design like my older GFG's, and this one has been fantastic so far. The first thing that jumped-out at me was how it heats-up in literally HALF the time the "submersible" design takes - 2.5 minutes vs. 5 minutes. And it cooks faster, too - probably because the quicker-heating (lower thermal-mass, more-conductive embedded heating elements) grill is better at keeping itself at the proper temperature, with less delay when the temperature starts to drop (along with less overshoot). For whatever reason the PFAS-free non-stick surface is also far superior to the newer "submersible" design - I have trouble keeping burgers on the grill because it was so slippery (without using any anti-stick spray) even the slightest tilt causes them to want to slide on the grill. Cleanup is a breeze - you just spray it down in the sink while it's still hot and everything comes right-off in seconds. The 12" x 6" grill size of this design is 10% less area than the 10" x 8" of the "submersible" design, but for some food-dishes a longer/narrower design is actually better for fitting multiple servings on the grill than a more-square one. Oh, and this thing weighs WAY less than the "submersible" design, and can be easily stored standing on its side to save space. And it's less than 2/3rds the price of the "submersible".

Cozy Cooking with the George Foreman Grill
This is my second George Foreman grill and I only changed because I needed a family size, the old I had for many years. This new family size grill heats up quickly and cooks food evenly on both sides, which saves a lot of time. I like that excess grease drains away, making meals a bit healthier. It’s very easy to clean thanks to the non-stick ceramic surface. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable grill and a great value for the price.

Nice little grill for 1 or 2
I've been enjoying this little grill. It's very basic, no temperature controls and very simple to use. Makes a tasty burger in a jiffy and I even enjoy cooking my ribeyes in it. Previously, I was making my burgers in a skillet and they were OK but because this heats up to a nice temp, it sears the meat nicely and gives a better flavor. It cooks very quickly as well. Top and bottom at the same time, no flipping. You can experiment to find out how long is perfect for you depending on the thickness etc. It does get very hot so don't plan on moving it around after it heats up unless you have high temp gloves or something. It also cleans up very easy as well. Here is one very important tip I can give you. Never EVER spray so called non stick sprays such as Pam on it or any other non stick skillet, air fryer basket etc. Because it will ruin the non stick surface and deteriorate it fast. I learned this the hard way after ruining several non stick items I owned and not knowing that the sprays were the cause. I learned that was cause in an article I read and since I stopped using it and only using regular oil in a sprayer if needed ( I use avacado oil) my non stick stuff stays like new and remains slick! Most of the time, you won't need any oil anyway if the meat has enough fat. The cooking surface is rather small but I find it perfect for me since live alone. It would probably be OK for 2 people also because it cooks rather quickly. Way back in the 70s we had presto burger. And they were great. Basically the same as this but the single version had a round insert to pre shape the burger. They also had double versions etc that had different inserts to cook different things. This grill works exactly the same way and make the same delicious burgers. It also makes great paninni as well, I've made several in it and they were crispy and delicious. Very happy with this simple purchase.

Not quite big enough but it works perfectly
This is a great little fryer and for small pork cutlets and other types of meat like hamburger patties it is perfect for a single individual to use. It would be great used in the dorms or anywhere where a single person is making a meal for themselves. I'm surprised that it was as small as it was. I would've liked it to be an extra inch all the way around wider but it works perfect for what it was designed for

Haven't had one of these since college!
Looking for a simple way to grill some chicken and this works great! A little flimsy but the cooking has been perfect and easy to clean up. Everyone should have one of these in their kitchen arsenal

SMALL AND CHEAP
Very disappointed in this George Forman grill it’s suppose to fit two sandwiches but only room for one. I didn’t use it hopefully I can still return it. It’s cheaply made.

Fast cooking and easy clean up.
Very easy to use, clean up and store. Food cooks fast with no turning etc, and does not stick to the cooking surfaces.

wonderful, as expected
When my grill went to a well-deserved death (it worked well for many years until the plates were unusable), I tried another brand - and it was dismal. This is, as I hoped and had experienced with the last one, comfortable, usable again, and absolutely marvelous.

Excelente custo benefício

Ótimo grill, valeu a pena importar.
