My 8 and 12 year olds had the best time trying to find license plates for each state! We drove eleven hours down I-95 and were able to find 38 different states, including DC. They were so excited when we saw one from Alaska. :o) It really made time fly by for all of us. It’s impossible to place the license plate magnets on their corresponding states on the map, so we got creative with putting plates that we found in a baggie and eventually were able to separate “found” plates on one side of the tin and the remaining on the other. I don’t recommend separating them like this from the get-go because the magnets sometimes fall when you close and reopen the tin and it can get confusing. But to each their own! All in all, this was a great find and I would have happily paid more for it. It was also nice to take a break from the alphabet game.

We played the license plate game as children, although we never had any way to keep track without writing them down. My siblings and I took a trip to go visit our mother and it was fun to play the game again like we did 50 years ago! The only complaint I have is that the map of the United States is not big enough to fit all the license plates on as you are finding them. The container either needs to be bigger or the license plates need to be smaller. However, that would not stop me from buying this. I would buy it again any day! The magnetic part of it is great for keeping the found states in order. We were able to close the box and open it again when we got back in the car and the license plates were still where we left them. So fun!!

This product provides hours of fun in the car for children and adults alike. The game also provides a geography lesson for children, helping them learn the locations of the different states as they match the license plate to the state. My only complaint is that there isn't enough room to place each license plate by the actual state, which is why I deducted one star from my review. Overall, I recommend the product, as I bought two so the kids wouldn't fight over the game in the car.

We love looking for license plates and I swear I’ve bought all the different books and games on the subject and this one is the best! Pros: It opens like a book so it’s easy to use but when we’re done in the car, we can close it and slide it in the seat pocket in front of us. The magnets are awesome because all the pieces stay inside. The license plates are true to their state so they’re easy to identify. Cons: my only complaint is that I wish there was more space on the outside of the map to put the plates that you’re still searching for. (We place the plate in Texas when we find Texas, etc). So we actually put a little ziploc inside the book for those plates so they’re not covering up the states while we’re still searching. This is the perfect game for kids and the family and it also makes a great birthday gift. Highly recommend this one if you’re looking for license plates!

We ordered this game for when we go on trips. My kids absolutely love finding different license plates and trying to get all 50 states every time we go on a trip.

The idea of this is fun. I expect it to entertain my kids pretty well on an upcoming road trip. I’m sure they’ll come up with all kinds of silly things. The magnets are very thin. They can bend very easily and I’m sure it won’t be long before we have several bent, maybe even broken ones. Two of the faces are printed onto the inside of the metal case. When I shake it upside down the magnets do not fall off. The other two faces are printed onto a laminated type paper. When they are inserted, and shaken upside down, the magnets do fall off. They are too week. Worried this will cause some problems using it as a in the car toy. My last issue is that the printing and cutting were off on our pirate hat. It was the only one off. It’ll be fine, but annoying for me.

Love the size and quality of this travel size toy. Easy & fun for a child to make silly faces keeping them entertained. You can also use it as a puzzle. The magnetic sheets are sturdy enough to keep & put the shapes back in place. Works like a puzzle and keeps the toy neat. You may not do that each time but it helps when pieces get too jumbled.
