Works perfect

this thing is cool! I lost one in the Palisades fire, and it was one of the first things I bought as a replacement.

At first glance, this Fender multi-tool seems to have it all. Allen wrenches in every useful size, flat heads, philips heads, it even has a RULER which is very smart. The only problem is, the bulk of the multi-tool itself makes it impossible to use on most Fender truss rods, especially if you're using string trees. On my telecaster deluxe, I couldn't even get the right angle to get the wrench into the hole, much less turn it. Ah well, I still have a very handy tool, and I can just use my StewMac "Gripper" truss rod wrench for the seasonal cranking. Other than the truss rod issue, the thing is well built, has the useful stuff, etc etc.

I am a DIY guitar tech on my own guitars and some work for friends and this is a handy little tool to have.

I needed an Allen tool to raise the bridge on my Fender Jag-Stang after installing a Tosicam shim I bought off amazon and also purchased a music nomad ruler for the string action/pickup height and between all three items I was able to setup my Jag-Stang in a breeze! Gotta say, that same-day shipping was helpful too. By the time I got home from work my items arrived and I was up and playing in less than an hour!

Works well enough and feels solid, but the product specifications on Amazon lists the county of origin as "USA" while the actually packaging clearly says "Made in China". Makes no functional difference, but knocking off a couple stars for misleading item description and for pricing significantly higher than similar Chinese made tools of comparable quality.

I have a Guitool for decades and it finally fell apart. This Fender tool is solid and necessary for my needs. It's inexpensive and affordable. I look forward to spending decades.
