I didn’t think I needed this until I got one, now I use it all the time. It smashes our burgers evenly and quickly while cooking, way better than a spoon or spatula. The handle is comfortable to grip. Feels sturdy and makes cooking way easier. If you have been using a spatula for smash burgers, even occasionally, this tool is worth it.

Bought this for my griddle/smash burgers. Well made for what it is but a few issues before use. Unlike the product photo, the rivets holding the handle shows through on the belly of the press. Not an issue but food particles can remain on the weld spots so need to be mindful when cleaning. The edges of the steel are sharp. Need to take some 220-grit sandpaper to ease the edges of the circle pad and handle supports. Aside from those things, the handle is welded nicely to the supports and it feels sturdy overall. Looking forward to using it but had to knock off a star for the fabrication issues. UPDATE (10.18.2022): Used the press extensively for smash burgers and it worked very well. I used parchment paper between the press and the beef balls when smashing and have no sticking issues. Item smashes the burger progressively and evenly without sliding around on my griddle. Large diameter handle provides confident grip/hold during pressing action. Cleans up easily with warm water and dish soap. Still keeping it at 4-stars due to the aforementioned fabrication issues (sharp edges), but certainly happy with its performance and functionality. Would buy again. Happy smashing!

We make smash burgers once a week. Well my partner does. He had a cast iron one but cleaning it was a process and a pain. This is great. It's nice and heavy and so sturdy. It is so easy to clean. Goodbye cast iron.

Perfect size and weight for making smash burgers on the blackstone. Quality metal and as long as you use a piece of parchment paper when smashing there is little to no mess nor sticking.

Works as expected. Was going to buy a more expensive one with wood or rubber handle but glad I didnt with the mess smashburgers make! Easy clean up every time! Will buy as gifts for sure.

This product is really sturdy and well made, enjoyed making 'crabby patties' with this tool, made making burgers fun and more cost effective. Good size and easy to clean and store. The box it came in was also strong allowing me to store in the box within the cupboard.

In my wisdom I decided I was going to make my own smash burgers! They were a huge family hit but in the process of making them i bent my metal spatchula ( it just wasn't up to the job). So I decided these bad boys were needed for our up coming Bbq, Game changer!! These are great, well made, sturdy, and more than capable of smashing out burgers for a hungry family of 5! Will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this.
