Perfect Grit & Great Value
These 240/240 grit nail files are exactly what I needed. They’re gentle enough for natural nails but still effective for shaping and smoothing. The grit feels consistent on both sides and doesn’t shred or damage the nail. I also love that this pack comes with multiple files, which makes it a great value. They feel sturdy, not flimsy, and hold up well after multiple uses. If you’re looking for a fine grit file for smoothing, refining shape, or prepping nails, this set is a great option. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

240 grit: Works great on my natural nails!
I like to keep my natural nails pretty short. I had been using a 280/320 pink file for years. Got impatient with how long it takes to file and that the pink surface edge would wear down quickly & split. Took a chance on these, thinking a tad more coarse grit might work without being too rough. These 240 grit files are perfect!

A little more rough than I expected
These are nice and sturdy, but I don believe they’re 240 grit. I use soft touch light blue nail files usually, which claim to be 240 grit. These files on Amazon are waaaay rougher than the light blue soft touch files. They feel like the dark blue soft touch. So either soft touch is wrong, or these are wrong. If I wanted that rough I’d love these, but I prefer smoother.

sturdy boards, lasting grit if cared for
i cannot stress this enough, clean your boards if you get these for personal use. just get a cheap nail brush to dust the grit clean and they will last a long time. 240 is enough to gentle etch nail surface or gently clean up around the cuticle. 240 is enough to shape correct and even out the surface of gel - soft, hard, and poly. yes, i'm serious, no it isn't a lot of work. you will have more control over shape and evenness changes if you're just learning and you're probably using an e-file if you're more experience. 240 is NOT enough to remove and debulk gel. you will burn through a board if you try, probably your nail too. 180 is, though 240 is safest around the cuticles when you're at that point, especially if yours are sensitive and/or easy to damage. use an old board to lightly file the edges (of the paper, not the actual board sides) if you are worried about paper cuts.

Used these for false nails … they work good … they last long as well

Bought these as reviews said they last longer. No so much. The grit wears away fairly quickly.
