After doing a lot of research I decided on purchasing this product because Ester-C has a higher absorbency rate than regular vitamin C, and does not make your stomach as acidic as other products. Also, it has healthy citrus bioflavonoids. According to Livestrong.org,, citrus bioflavonoids help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels; they make skin more resilient; they have the potential of helping with drug resistant cancer cells making them more sensitive to chemotherapy; they could protect the brain against Alzheimer's disease; and they also might provide protection against heart disease since these type of bioflavonoids work reducing inflammation and improve circulation. The only thing I do not like about this product is the size of the tablets. They are huge and I have to cut them in half to swallow them to avoid choking. But cutting them in half is not a big deal. All in all, I highly recommend this product. My doctor recommended increasing my vitamin C to help with energy/ combat the effects of adrenal fatigue. This particular brand/ dosage has made a world of difference for me. I take one in the morning after breakfast and one after lunch. I'm now able to make it until bedtime without feeling like I will collapse from fatigue. Plus, I've noticed a reduction in sickness as it relates to cold-like symptoms which working in a school environment, where coughs, sneezes and sniffles abound, is like a miracle. Update: (6/22/2013) Still love this product and rely on it as a staple of my day; however, lately---and I have no idea why--- I've had more difficulty swallowing these as they are a little on the large side(just shy of an inch long) and in the hard, tablet form. I usually prefer capsules anyway because I feel like in that form the supplement has greater efficacy probably just due to my digestive system having an easier time of breaking it down. At any rate, I will order this same product in capsule form. I just wanted to add this note in case you have difficulty swallowing pills. Thankfully, they offer alternative forms of the supplement!

This Vitamin C supplement from American Health contains NO gluten, yeast, wheat, lactose, eggs, sugar, artificial color/flavor, sodium, soy, preservatives and it is non-GMO. Suitable for vegans.

My husband prefers this type of vitamin C since his father trusted this brand for so many years as well. Back then, older folks just took 1 or 2 supplements. And this was his go to.

Ester C is a good supplement. Tablets are rather large and a little difficult to swallow. Just be sure to take a large mouth full of water. They have no flavor. Not to be chewed. I do like that they are non-acidic. As I understand it, it is the best form of vitamin C you can take.

This is my first time to buy ester c online. Its all good. I just had to legit check it thru their email account. it turn out that its good and really made from them. And the quality. it doesn’t make any problem to your stomach because of its non-acid content which is nice. Thanks👍👍👍
