St. Augustine Palmetto | 36 Live Extra Large Grass Plugs | Drought, Salt & Shade Tolerant Turf Sod

Unboxing the plugs after delivery I found them still vibrant green and only a little expected yellowing. I ordered these plugs 3 times and each time they all appeared the same. They must ship on Mondays bc I always received them on Wednesday. I live in NC and these ship from Florida. After arrival I took out 4 flats, 18 plugs in each flat totaling 72 beautifully, Large 2x2 plugs and watered them. I was able to take my time planting these and did not lose any after 2 weeks. They started growing immediately and after 1 week they already had runners or stalons. After one month the growth was fast and some stalons were 6 inches long. I planted the first box 12-18 inches apart and realized that these plugs can be cut in half doubling the number of plugs easily without harming the plant. Water these plugs everyday and follow the instructions and you will have grass growing in no time. The plugs are so much prettier in person. Great purchase and I will definitely order from this seller again.

Grows well in good soil and shade. In hot desert weather and dog yard it doesnt grow.

Crappy. all super brown with maybe a limp green piece in each segment. Very disappointed. I would give it a zero if that was an option. I bought from these guys earlier in the year and was pleased, I think I rated them a 4 at the time. I WiLL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. I stuck these crappy pieces in my yard , but no good is going to come of it. BEWARE

The top layer of grass was great, green, healthy and alive. The second layer was crushed, brown and most of it is dead.

They arrived quickly in Florida not far from where grown, and the plugs were firm and easy to handle. They were planted within 12 hours and have taken hold. They look green and healthy.

This was my 2nd purchase of Palmetto plugs. I was very pleased with the plugs that came in my first order. As a consequence, I placed a second order. The product came slightly ahead of the scheduled delivery date which was great. However, on opening the shipping carton, I realized that almost half of the roots of the plugs were dead. And so was the grass. I did not return it because I needed only a few of the plugs to complete my project. I could use the good ones. That being said, the priciple was that I received a product that was not in good condition and satisfactory to me. It should not have been shipped.
