Just a good mouse.
I don't really know what to say in detail since it's just a nice mouse with plenty of neat features. Genuinely have nothing bad to say about it. It's responsive, the ergonomics are nice, the buttons are satisfying, and the scroll wheel doesn't seem to have any 'give' to it.

Pro's outweigh the Con's
I bought this as an upgrade to my Ziyou Lang wired mouse. The Ziyou Lang one was great but i wanted to step up my game slightly in terms of price to performance in terms of mouse. For it's price the EVGA X17 is a brilliant mouse with many different features. It has RGB built in which you can change to your desired colour. Extra buttons and 18000 DPI which far exceeds most casual commercial mice. The only downside i have noticed is that the scroll wheel is okay from scrolling, but awful on a game like Oldschool Runescape, moving the camera requires the middle scroll to be pressed and then move the mouse to spin the camera but as soon as you press the wheel it forces the scroll inwards. Slightly jarring for games that require similar camera usage.

Broken on arrival - the lights work but doesn't work as a mouse
Have tried in on different PCs but it doesnt work on any of them, the lights work and can change the colour of those in the EVGA software, but it doesnt move the cursor at all so useless as a mouse. Nothing blocking the sensors but they dont light up like on previous optimal mouse so not sure if internal error. Have tried changing various DPI settings but none of them make a difference - still doesnt work at all. Had to get a refund from Amazon as told replacement wasnt an option, price has gone up since I ordered it so would cost me more to try same again, but will try something else instead. Shame as it looked like it would be good.

Great mouse, misunderstood by users.
Really this is a great mouse, especially at this price point, good value for your cash, build quality is decent, the shape is all around really good for claw grips but please remember that this mouse is misunderstood, there’s a small issue with the fact that the DPI buttons are very easy to accidentally push when scrolling, causing you to feel like it has a “mind of its own” when the dpi changes due to scrolling lol, to get around this, just reprogram the buttons to avoid accidental pushes, the sensor is very good and the extra weights are a great bonus but I don’t use them, the click buttons sound and feel great and have very little latency, I also haven’t experienced any issues with the scroll wheel and I’ve owned this over a year.

Nice mouse but scroll wheel broke after less than four months
There's quite a bit to recommend about the mouse - it's comfy, easy to use all of the buttons without any strain and the quick DPI adjustment is nice. However, after less than four months of use something snapped inside of the mouse wheel causing it to no longer scroll. From a brief search it seems that this isn't a particularly uncommon problem with a plastic rod snapping inside. Bit disappointing and difficult to recommend to anyone regularly using the scroll wheel (I assume pretty much everyone these days, but who knows).
