Sticky
This is solid, reliable electrical tape that does exactly what it’s supposed to. The flexibility and stretch make it easy to work with, whether you’re wrapping wires, making quick repairs, or insulating connections. It conforms nicely, even around odd shapes or tight bends, and sticks well without peeling back. I appreciate that it’s commercial grade and rated up to 194°F—it gives peace of mind knowing it can handle heat and hold up over time. The roll length is generous at 66 feet, so a single roll lasts quite a while even with frequent use. Compared to generic electrical tapes, Scotch 700 feels more durable and doesn’t get brittle or lose adhesion as quickly. It’s dependable for both home projects and more serious applications. Overall, it’s just good-quality electrical tape—easy to apply, holds strong, and worth the extra reliability that comes with the Scotch name.

The professional choice for reliable insulation
The Scotch Vinyl 700 Electrical Tape is my go-to for any serious electrical work because its superior stretch and conformability ensure a tight, moisture-resistant seal every time. I’m impressed by its high temperature rating (up to 194°F), which gives me total confidence using it in demanding commercial environments or hot engine bays. The adhesive is incredibly strong and stays tacky without becoming a gooey mess, even after long-term exposure to the elements. This 5-roll pack is a great value, providing plenty of high-quality, 66-foot rolls that handle comfortably and tear cleanly when needed. It’s a dependable, pro-grade tape that offers much better peace of mind than the cheap, thin alternatives.

Strong and Sticky !
This commercial grade 7 mil vinyl electrical tape is truly a must-have for anyone who needs reliable and durable tape for electrical work or general repairs. I recently purchased the convenient 5 pack, and I am extremely impressed with the quality and performance. The tape is highly flexible and stretchy, making it easy to wrap around wires, cables, and even awkwardly shaped objects. It conforms perfectly to whatever surface I’m working with, ensuring a secure and professional finish every time. One of the standout features is its impressive insulation capability. I’ve used it for both holding and protecting electrical connections, and it provides excellent peace of mind knowing that it’s rated for temperatures up to 194 degrees. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, from home DIY projects to more demanding commercial jobs. The adhesive is strong and long-lasting, yet the tape is easy to tear by hand, which saves time and hassle. Overall, this electrical tape delivers on all fronts: durability, flexibility, and safety. The 5 pack is a great value, ensuring I always have enough tape on hand for any project. Reliable tape but could be stickier
I’ve used this electrical tape for a variety of small projects, and it gets the job done. It’s durable and easy to tear, which is convenient when working quickly. The material feels high quality and provides a good layer of insulation for wires. However, I noticed that the adhesive isn’t as strong as I’d hoped. On some surfaces, it starts peeling after a few days. It works best on clean, dry surfaces, but struggles a bit with damp or slightly textured areas. Overall, it’s a decent tape for the price, but a stronger adhesive would make it perfect!

Reliable electrical tape that does exactly what it should
This is proper electrical tape. Adhesion is strong without being messy, it stretches cleanly around corners and joints, and it stays put once wrapped. No peeling, no drying out, no unraveling over time. The vinyl has the right balance of flexibility and thickness, so it conforms well while still providing insulation and abrasion resistance. Tears cleanly by hand when needed but doesn’t rip unintentionally during application. Holds up under normal heat and movement without turning gummy or brittle. This is the kind of tape you buy once and keep reaching for because it works every time.

Great electrical tape, sticky, holds up well
Simple enough product, good electrical tape, better than other brands that do not stick well, stretches without breaking and does what it's supposed to do

One of the best electric tapes out there.
I like how this is black. It’s like any other electric tape that you would buy from Home Depot or Lowe’s. The size of it was great. The smells honestly just smells like. Electric tape out there it does work great I tried it only once before I returned it overall it does deserve five stars. It is a great product if you need electric tape by this.

This feels a little stiffer than Super88. It does rip easier without leaving a stretched sticky bundle unlike Super88, so I can get away from not having to cut all of the time. Less wasted tape. It also seems to have less adhesive residue, so it's much cleaner to use than Super88. I did use this tape outdoors in -10C and it rips and handles well. Would recommend.
