Good As Gold
It is exactly as described. It will securely hold a standard 1 ounce gold bar. It comes with a foam pad but it is too thick to be used. The foam is not necessary. The capsule holds the face of the bar fairly snug in place and just a couple mm of space on each side. Although there is some movement from side to side it is not enough to scratch or damage the gold bar in any way. Definitely will NOT fit a silver bar. Will buy again from this dealer.

Best ever packaging
These silver bar capsules are neato. The packaging was probably the best packing job I’ve ever seen. Really great and I’m happy I got them.

Nice case, But I dont understand!
The case is nice but the foam insert that is in it is useless. If you try to put a gold bar in the case with it there is no room and you cant close the case. So your only choice is to either take the black foam out or to not put a gold bar in and just have some black foam in the case to stare at. Would be nice if the foam was thinner. I put the Credit suisse bar over the case and carefully used a razor to cut out the size of the bar so I could surround the bar with the foam. That seemed to work ok.

Great for silver bars too.
Worked fine for my 1oz silver bars, but I had to remove the black insert. Excellent quality, packaging, and shipping. Very pleased with the product. Thanks.

These are amazing. Great care is taken in packaging to make sure they don’t get scratched. They look great!

DOESN'T DO WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO!
I have never left a product review on Amazon before, but for the first time I feel that I must. This product is a total waste of money. I have no idea what all of the positive reviews are talking about. The whole reason I got this was to have a padded capsule, but it is impossible to fit the gold bar in the capsule with the padding, the capsule simply IS NOT WIDE ENOUGH! Seriously, why bother manufacturing such a simple product if you're not going to get it right! The only reason I gave it 1 star is because the system wouldn't let me post 0 stars!

one once gold does not fit.
Doesn't fit, wont close unless you leave it in a vice for a week.
