It looks like a heavy, black carafe, unassuming. It’s’ heavy, so it will stay put. But, IMPRESSIVE!!! I checked it out when I received it, and thought,” 12 hrs…we’ll see”. I made coffee yesterday morning, enough to have a couple refills at the store. So, coffee was made and in carafe before 9:30 am. I just poured another cup, today, 5:00 am, almst 24 hours later, and it was still warm enough to drink without needing to zap in microwave. So, very functional, easy to use, durable (metal outer case), matte black finish, heavy, keeps liquids hot for over 12 hours (I’ll have to update after I use in the summer). Very impressed with the Tinkin carafe.

I like the shape of this thermal carafe, it is sturdy and I am confident it will not tip over. The neck is narrow, as is common with these items, but it does make the inside a challenge to clean -- I clean it as best I can after each use so tea stains don't build up. I have been using this every day for over a week now, and I can say from my experience that it works well at keeping hot tea hot. When it is full, it does a better job; when it is half full, the tea would probably not stay drinkably hot for more than 5 hours. This is perfectly fine for my uses. I am happy to report that it actually holds 1.09 liters by measure. The pour spout is activated by the thumb above the holding handle, and that also works very well. Edited after a few weeks to add: I find that when I am pouring from the carafe into a mug, the liquid does tend to splatter as it comes out, and some of it ends up on the counter. I haven't quite figured out why this happens, I am holding the trigger all the way down. It's only a nuisance, one half paper towel cleans it up, so I'm leaving the review at 4 stars.

This has been wonderful for tea! Especially during the frigid Northeast winter. Two tea bags in a full pot are perfect. Tea stays hot all day, and tasty warmed in microwave a day later.

Works great. Kept coffee hot the hole day as if it were made now. I haven't tried to keep the coffee for another day but I feel it should retain the heat well enough. Gotta try it though. Solid built and sturdy.

Knowing that cold reduces the oxidation rate of, and extends the life of a pot of coffee before it goes stale, I have taken to keeping my freshly brewed pot of coffee, in the thermal stainless steel pot that came with my coffee maker, in the refrigerator once it has cooled down naturally. I then heat it up by the mug full in the microwave. I've done this successfully for years. Yesterday, I used my Tiken 51 Oz Thermal Coffee Carafe, Stainless Steel Insulated Vacuum Coffee Carafe for the first time. I tested its seal for leakage before using and it passed with flying colors. In addition, I was quite surprised to find that after being held in the refrigerator over night for 8 hours, at 38 degrees Fahrenheit, steam wafted from the stream of coffee as I poured it into my mug and continued to rise even after I added milk. The carafe holds exactly a full, 10 cup (at 5 oz/cup) pot of coffee. That's how well this carafe keeps liquids hot! Amazing!

Keeps the coffee hot for hours. Easy-to operate no-drip pouring. Looks nice. When we have guests, I make one pot of coffee, put it in the carafe and immediately make another pot for the house. Then our guests can take the carafe to their room or outside. Also, we are simply saved from having to leap up to make another pot of coffee right away.

Tiens le café bien au chaud 12 heures mais pas beaucoup plus. Mon thermos précédent gardait plus chaud plus longtemps.

Honnêtement, c'est génial pour garder longtemps du chaud. 20h bien chaud et même 30h après remplissage,le liquide reste tiède.

Works brilliantly. You need to descale it monthly if in a hard water area. It had stopped keeping heat as well, but this was resolved after I descaled it. You also need to fill it to the brim with boiling water. If you partially fill it then it cools faster. I fill it at 8am and it's still steaming hot 12 hours later. I've had it 4 months now.
