Perler Mini Beads Square Mini Pegboard Set, 4 pcs

Perfect for perler beads.

I had a couple trays of mini meads but no boards for setting the beads. These boards worked fine for my project. Please note that this is for the MINI Perler beads--the really tiny ones you have to use tweezers for. I had only worked with the standard size in the past bt needed the mini for a project. They are so very tiny and can be frustrating to work with. Watched a couple instructional videos to confirm there was no easier way to work with them and several folks who (apparently) use these frequently suggested a masking tape method for ironing. Apparently the height of the beads means the iron gets closer to the board and the heat can ruin the board. I DID NOT experience this, but heads up that it might be an issue. I only ironed on the board twice.

I love the regular size perler beads so I thought the small ones would be extra fun. The only problem is the beads are so small, it is sometimes hard to put them on the peg board and hold with your fingers. I would recommend tweezers and not get them for small children. But the peg boards work just fine.

4 little boards= 1 regular size one. I wanted 1 regular size mini perler board. Decided to keep anyway.

Mini pegboards work perfectly with mini Perler beads to create complex designs that can be joined with others to create a larger article. These work exactly as advertised when used with the recommended ironing paper, a small swatch of which is included and can be used and reused.

Never can have to many templates. And this being the mini beads template, can get more details accomplished.

Sin estos tableros, está muy difícil hacer algún diseño con las cuentas Perler. Me encanta su tamaño (menor a 10cm), y el que sean interconectables, permitiendo esto el que se puedan hacer diseños más grandes sin tanto problema. El único pero que le pongo es que al menor golpe se salten las cuentas, lo que me llevó a tener que rehacer varias veces parte de del R2D2, al pegarle sin querer antes de haberlo planchado.

El material con el que está hecho es el adecuado, soporta las altas temperaturas de la plancha sin dañarse. El tamaño de cada board es algo pequeño, por lo que apenas con los 4 boards juntos puedes realizar figuras de tamaño similar al de los tradicionales beads de 5mm, pero con más resolución. Recomendado!!!
