What can I say bout acoustic foam? I wanted to make a little soundbox for recording audio, and I could pay 50$ or buy these. I bought these stuffed them into a box and stuck my microphone inside. It words great. cuts out a lot of the ambient noise and I have many more of these if I want to go REALLY crazy.

They work well and stops a lot of sound leakage especially if you're in a old building and the walls are paper thin the panels do shrink as you can see in the picture and those adhesion stickers barely keep the panels on they kept falling off so I just gorilla glued them to the wall for the price I wouldn't expect studio quality just know what you're buying Is budget quality I've personally bought over 80 panels from them and does the job for Privacy

I am building a recording booth inside a closet and bought 10 packages. They come compressed and restore to their shape very quickly. The one thing: they don’t adhere well to any adhesive, so we nailed them into the wall.

After the recent fire in Crans CH, I tested the panels covering my studio.

I’ve had mixed results with the foam panels I’ve ordered on Amazon. These are great. They expanded immediately to their promised 2” thickness upon removal from the vacuum-sealed plastic. No extra effort needed! These are the ones I will keep buying!

The following convinced me not to get a separate adhesive but the following was NOT INCLUDED. Our acoustic panels are high-density(25kg/cbm) which is easy to shape and cut to size. Once these foam panels regained full size, the mounting process on the wall or ceiling can be started. Double side adhesive tapes are included but may not work well in cold weather, you can opt for gorilla construction glue(for permanent install) or "T" pins(temporary install).

These come vacuum packed and need maybe 2 days to fully expand. Once they do they look just as pictured. I installed them into a small machine room and they reduced the sound dramatically. Use professional grade spray contact adhesive and they will stay in place perfectly. Once all hard metal surfaces are covered, you are good to go and most sound will get absorbed. Would buy again.
